DC's Best: Iconic Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour Experience

Rooster, one of the many talented drivers, what a cool, knowledgeable guy. He made us feel we were on a personal tour. We loved the Arlington cemetery add on.

The bus has various stops around the city to view and visit all the main attractions. I started at Union Station and got there early to catch the first bus. The conductor on the bus Bernie gave some really insightful and helpful advice on how to set up the day to ensure you maximised the day to see all the things you wanted. Great advice was received to ensure Arlington was given the maximum amount of time to see. The buses run regularly and all live commentary. I did have driver completely miss me on a stop, but you can spend extra time at a stop, as there is always things to see and the next driver will grab you in approximately 20 minutes. Each conductor gives different additional information so there is always something different if you do the loop multiple times. The conductors are amazing for giving people additional information on the best time for some attractions. Always pointed out photo opportunities. Can get multiple day tickets. Great bunch of drivers. Ryan was also really insightful with handy tips on the attractions.

It was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Everett knew his history of every monument and was funny and friendly as well. I recommend the Hop On and Off Tour. Excellent for the whole family.

This was a great way to see all the important sites in Washington. We could spend as much time at each Monument then hop on the next trolley. The drivers were very knowledgeable about the site's and the history. It was easy to park at Union Station and pay before boarding our trolley.

This is a great way to learn about the city. Great history. We love these types of tours because we get a lot of them. We do it for a day, the entire trip and then on the second round we get off and on. Do the Arlington National Cemetery. Paying for it in advance also gets you on the tram within the cemetery. Do the cemetery first!!!

Great tour, excellent and knowledgeable driver! She was comical and accommodating. She knew just where to stop to provide excellent photo ops! She's a keeper!

There is no pickup at the DC ward, yet it is still on the map, and the trolly goes right by. Once we got that figured out the rest of the route was great.
