Isla Tortuga: Ihr exklusiver Traumtag im Privat-Paradies!

Die Tour mit Tourismo Maritimo del Pacifico und vorallem den beiden Guides Emanuel und Veronica können wir auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Wir waren nur zu acht auf dem Boot, was uns gegenüber den grösseren Anbietern sehr gut gefallen hat. Der Tag auf der Insel war sehr entspannend. 1 Abzug gibt es, da zu Beginn ein kleines Chaos betr. Parkplatz war, dies wurde jedoch sehr schnell und professionell behoben. Zudem war das Essen zwar gut, aber etwas trocken (z.B. Sauce zum Salat). Alles in allem würden wir die Tour aber sofort wieder buchen, Isla Tortuga und die Umgebung ist wirklich wunderschön.

Veronica was an awesome guide along with Captain Marco and Isabella took great care of our family of 6. Grilled chicken was amazing and the entire experience was simply unforgettable!! I highly recommend if you are looking for an amazing experience!

The price was well worth the experience and services provided by Isabella, Marco, and Felipe. The team contacted me ahead of time to confirm the meeting point and even sent a picture of Isabella, who was meeting us at the cruise ship dock. Isabella was right there and got a taxi to drive us to the marina. We met Captain Marco and Felipe, and they assisted us in boarding the boat. As we left, Isabella provided us with information about the region, and we eventually entered the open bay. There, we saw an active pod of bottlenose dolphins. From there, we headed to Monkey Island and interacted with the spider monkeys by throwing them some watermelon pieces. After that, we went to Arch Rock and eventually to Tortuga Isle. Spent some time in the water and had a fantastic lunch of BBQ chicken, rice, and additional snacks. You can buy extra items and drinks at the isle bar and shops, and they accept credit cards. We decided not to snorkel because a rainstorm was heading towards us, and we made our way back to the marina. They arranged a taxi to take us back to the ship. The experience was terrific, and the staff provided fantastic service. I would highly recommend TM Tours. It was a great value and an excellent service for a great day in Puntarenas.

The tour and guide were amazing, and I enjoyed every moment. It almost didn’t happen though. I booked through tripadvisor/viator and never got a confirmation or had any communication with the tour operator prior despite many attempts to contact them. As a result, I ttok a taxi from my cruise ship pier to the hotel listed as a meeting point and waited from 30 minutes early to 10 minutes after the time. I asked many people at the meeting point and then a nice man gave me his phone and said it was the tour operator calling for me. The tour operator found me and took care of everything from then forward. I felt lucky and grateful to the friendly assistance, but I wouldn’t recommend booking it through tripadvisor. Better to search the tour and try to book directly so that you get good contact information, because the contact information I got from tripadvisor was wrong.

We had such a great time! The island is beautiful and the snorkel tour was awesome! We saw so many colorful fish. The meal that was made for us was delicious! We saw an anteater on monkey island and that was such an awesome surprise! We were the only ones on the tour that didn’t speak Spanish. Our tour guide was great and made sure everything he said in Spanish, he said again in English. He made sure we were comfortable and understood everything he was telling us. He made us feel like we were part of the group and included in everything. We went through a storm in the way home and he passed out table cloths so we could all protect ourselves from the rain. Even with the rain, it was a really great day!

Excellent full day trip with family during our first visit to Costa Rica. Pura Vida !! Verónica (Guide), Captain Marco (Captain), and Isabella (Host), made us feel at home, like family, with lots of pictures, outstanding views, great food, safe and specially welcomed in Costa Rica. I recommend TM tours to any family or small group that is trying to avoid the crowds and the noise of the larger boats, and feel like you have the whole team just for you and your loved ones. I’m so happy we booked with them, and I will look for the opportunity to return.

I was lucky enough to schedule this tour on my birthday. Their wonderful staff made my 41st birthday a memorable one by making me a surprise birthday cake and all the staff and others that were part of the tour, sang me Happy Birthday, which meant even more as this was a solo trip away from friends and family. Thank you Daniel, Mariana and everyone else who made this an unforgettable experience.

The guys were great! We had a lot of fun and the views were amazing! We did not catch many fish due to the heavy rains the night before, but they tried really hard. It is called fishing and not catching. I enjoyed being on the lake looking at a volcano.

Where do I even start ... TM Tours crew (Veronica, Felipe and Capt. Jo) were all wonderful. Their specialty is that this is a small group tour - total 9 people in our tour, so everything felt pretty private and personal. We stopped by to watch some crocs pretty early in the trip, then went on to a nearby island to watch a group of spider monkeys. Capt Jo took us up close to the point where we can practically jump on the rocks to touch the monkey (we did not, but you get the idea). There was a group of 15-20 monkeys, with a few new born babies riding on the back of their moms. All in all wonderful time was had. They served fresh fruit (watermelon and pineapple) on the boat and we went to the arch next, great natural formations and some good vegetation - good sights overall. Next stop was snorkeling, it was our first time snorkeling and not everyone in our party knew how to swim, but Veronica and Felipe assured us that there is nothing to worry about. They got in the water with us and guided us throughout. Felipe, especially, stayed with my 10 year old son throughout the snorkeling event. Veronica and Felipe made our first snorkeling safe and fun. We saw quite a few fish!!! Once everyone was safely back on boat, next step was the picturesque Tortuga Island. Once on the island we were free to explore and have fun in the water. A delicious lunch was served at 12:30 with coffee at 2. Lunch choices were fish or chicken (pre-booked). We had fish and it was DELICIOUS. Veronica later told us they catch the fish in the morning and serve in the afternoon ... No wonder it was tasty !!!1 IMO, this was a much better value than other more expensive tortuga Island tours. We went to the same snorkeling spot, went to the same beach, and arrived and left the island at the same time. Sure somethings (like banana boat and eco hike) were not included in this tour, but seriously - who goes on eco hike when you are on an island beach? We did the Tortuga tour as part of our 50th bday celebration. It was a family trip. We had Isabela as our guide. She gave us the best day! We had a blast! The kids can’t stop talking about it. From the snorkelling, seeing the spider monkey, the whole day in the island swimming at that beautiful beach. To cap the day, we experienced swimming with the bioluminescence. It was such an experience. Thank you Isabela for an experience that will last us a lifetime
