Unvergessliche VR-Zeitreise: Antikes Olympia ab Katakolo

Der Tour-Veranstalter war sehr hilfsbereit und engagiert bei der Vorbereitung zum Transfer nach Olympia inkl. virtueller Tour. Uns hat die virtuelle Tour auch sehr gut gefallen, da virtuell und sehr spannend veranschaulicht wird wie die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Olympia zur damaligen Zeit ausgesehen haben (könnten). Für uns war es auf jeden Fall spannender als so mancher Tourguide. 👌

Very attentive tour operators, bus to site very comfortable My overall experience was good; however, it would have been better if an information pamphlet were available as the audio format using my phone consumed a lot of battery. In saying this I would still recommend

Pick up and drop off was easy. Tour office just outside port. Well organized. On your own exploration of the museum and ruins, which was fine with us. Guide was very helpful and friendly.

Our audio did not work on either phone so we walked through the ruins not knowing at all what we were looking at.

Perfect opportunity to see ancient Olympia! The ruins were amazing, the village outside was quaint and a great place for lunch, and the VR experience provided lots of details. Our guide Chrisy and driver were the best!

Whilst the tour held some interesting sites the VR Audio fell far short. The audio would not reconnect after visiting the Museum so we barely use it at all. Our guide informed us that it would work without wifi but this was not the case. If you wanted to take photos you had to sign out and then back in again. For the small amount of time we could actually use the audio it was pretty awful - very corny and a "fake conversation" type of thing. The tour could be longer - by the time we looked at the Museum we had to then rush around the Archaeological site in order to return to the bus. We did not have any time to visit the Olympic Museum.

Got bus at cruise dock. Guide helped load tour on our phones. Liked being able to go at our own pace. Went to the museum first, then archeological site and had time to go to Olympic Museum. The tour on phone is for the archeological site. Good tour for anyone, especially if you have never been to Olympia.

Very good tour of Museum and ancient grounds. The virtual audio made it even better. Lots of walking.

George was amazing , he managed 3 big busses of us and was still available for a chat, always had a smile and knew when to let the bus sleep on the way back. Great job George

We had a very nice excursion to Ancient Olympia. Our guide was Chrysi, and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She demonstrated a lot of patience dealing with a large Spanish speaking group that didn't understand English and ended up taking up a lot of her time trying to explain how to use the VR guide at the Ancient Olympic ruins. I'm not sure if they signed up on Viator, but I was specifically asked what language I wanted for the tour. The Spanish group shouldn't have been with us, but shouldn't be a reflection on Chrysi.
