I had an amazing experience with Usalama tours. They were very detailed and they showed me around Kigali beautifully. On the day of my tour, my flight landed earlier than predicted and I requested to be picked up from the airport and Usalama tours did just that and I was very grateful. It was a wonderful experience to get to know Kigali better with a personal guide, from the local market to Mount Kigalie, the famous "Wall of Kigali," and the unforgettable visit to the Genocide Museum and the tribute to the Belgian Paratroopers. An impressively friendly city.

Was a very eye-opening tour on the first day we landed in Kigali! Benoit was a great guide who showed us both new and old Kigali. The first stop was the memorial and though heavy, was wonderful to hear Benoit’s view. The positivity and hope for the future as he took us to the market, hilltop to see the night view, and the Belgian memorial was evident in the way he presented the city to us! Highly recommend the tour for not just the view of the city but for an outlook on life.

Usalama Tours in Kigali provided an excellent private tour. Our tour guide, Ben, was well versed in English and super knowledgeable about the history of Kigali and plans for current Kigali. You can’t go wrong with this tour. Darius our driver guide was courteous and knowledgeable. His love of Rwanda and Kigali was apparent throughout the tour. Excellent for English speakers. Although difficult and emotionally draining the Kigali Genocide Memorial was a must see and extremely educational as the Western media has largely ignored or understated the atrocities that unfolded those 100 days in 1994. Whether it was the market, soccer stadium, Mt. Kigali, or just driving around this magnificent city, this tour was an excellent 1st day excursion to get grounded and learn.

We loved it so much. Nice Kigali City tour and sightseeing, especially seeing the relics and the memorials of the Rwanda genocide 🥲 I was actually emotional 😭 May God heal the country. It was an amazing experience in Kigali and the tour guide was wonderful.

Darius was very flexible, but still got to all the key sites during our 4 hour tour. It was enjoyable and vehicle was impeccable!
