Reiseleiter / Inhaber Narinder und unser Fahrer holten mich pünktlich in meinem Hotel ab. Während der ungefähr 50-minütigen Fahrt wies er auf viele interessante Besonderheiten hin, und wir hielten an mehreren Orten an (wie der riesigen Universität), und er lieferte viele Hintergrundinformationen über Amritsar und die Umgebung - Vergangenheit und Gegenwart. Mit einem Führer zusammen zu sein, brachte uns durch die VIP-Linie an der Grenze. Die Grenzschließungszeremonie ist eine Hauptattraktion bis zu dem Punkt, an dem sie tatsächlich ein Stadion (wie 2/3 eines US-amerikanischen Fußballstadions) zur Besichtigung gebaut haben. Es gibt eine ziemliche Menge-Teilnahme-Show, bevor das eigentliche Closing stattfindet. Sie können eine Vorschau auf YouTube erhalten, aber am besten selbst erleben, wenn möglich mit Narinder. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Given the current Indian-Pakistani relationship most people would probably balk at doing this tour. However, it was incredible to see the synchronisation and polish on the Indian side. Sadly they are not currently opening the gates so not much could be seen of the Pakistani ceremony. Our tour guide Narinda was knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

The border ceremony is a very unique experience and should be seen at least once for the spectacle alone. It can be done on your own, but the benefit of using a tour company is they make it as convenient as possible. Our tour guide Narinder was amazing! He had such great knowledge of the area, gave us great information on the way to and from the border ceremony and helped us navigate the steps we had to take to get to our seats and enjoy the performance. He gave great recommendations for other things to do and places to eat while we were there. Definitely worth it to do a private tour with a company that knows what they are doing!

Excellent tour and very enjoyable. Narinder was very accommodating and was in constant communication in the lead up to confirm the finer details. His local knowledge was very informative and an added bonus. After the tour he kindly recommended a lovely place for dinner and even waiting for us to eat to drop us off back at the hotel.

Narinder was a very knowledgeable and supportive guide. He took us to the border as well as a separate event we booked with him to go to Gobindgarh Fort/Sri Durgiana Temple. On both occasion he took good care of us and shared a lot of local information in relation to these trips. More importantly the pace was ideal for us, and he is happy to tailor it for your needs. We have travelled to India several times, and returning back to Punjab was enhanced with the guide. My wife is not Indian (I am), she benefitted from the information shared on the local customs/foods etc. Very strongly recommend Narinder.
