We had a great experience with TK! He was very friendly and knowledgeable as a guide around Kanazawa. We had mini photo shoots scattered throughout our day which were a lot of fun, and the photos turned out great!

We had a lovely time, visited beautiful places with our guide/photographer taking great photos. He was knowledgeable, helpful and flexible. It was our honeymoon and the pictures will be a cherished memories for life.

TK was punctual, communicative, and very patient with our 2 year old toddler during the 6 hours Kanazawa day tour and photoshoot session. It's a great way to explore the highlights of Kanazawa for those with limited time. If we had more time, would have loved to go to the surrounding areas with him too.

Very easy to arrange with TK regarding timing and location, he gives good advices on the local situation so we do not waste time queuing unnecessarily. He gives good cues for the photography sessions and we feel comfortable throughout the process. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional photographer!

With less than 48 hours in Kanazawa, TK's photography and tour guide services made sense to us as a couple traveling to Japan with an eight month baby. TK was easy to contact and responsive from first email to day of the shoot. He was able to answer our questions ahead of time as well as provide a car seat for the little one. We enjoyed TK's natural style of photography and patience. TK was very helpful and accommodating when we requested photos outside of his usual route. One of my favorite photos of the trip came from TK capturing us eating strawberries on a stick at Omicho market. Quick delivery of items was a nice plus as well. If you are short on time in Kanazawa, highly recommend booking this convenient package.

We had an amazing experience with TK with our tour and photoshoot in Kanazawa! We had a full day photoshoot with him. As amateurs, we were a bit nervous about posing, but he made us feel comfortable and captured beautiful shots. The tour was informative and gave us a deep dive into the city’s culture and history. We had a one day photoshoot and tour with TK! He was an excellent tour guide who blended excellent knowledge with allowing us to explore and experience on our own. He was able to tailor the experience to our needs and his food recommendations were spot on, especially as there was a 10 person queue soon after we sat down! His photography skills are impeccable and his eye to see the great shots left us with memories we will cherish forever. We wanted to visit somewhere none of our friends had been to before and Kanazawa, which faces the sea of Japan, seemed like a logical choice. But having no previous experience of this city, what were we to do? Easy! When we found out we could hire a guide who could show us around Kanazawa in one day and take professional photos as well, all the pressure was removed completely. TK Photography looked after us from beginning to end. After meeting at our hotel, he showed us the traditional district of Higashi Chaya before all the tour buses arrived. This has a similar (although sufficiently different) feel to Gion in Kyoto. And here in Kanazawa we could easily visit Geisha and Samurai Houses which we couldn’t arrange to see elsewhere. Next it was onto the busy Omicho Market where TK made some great suggestions for our choice of seafood lunch. He then took us to Kenrokuen Garden, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. Being January, the interplay of white snow on green mossy trees and water gardens was a truly beautiful sight to behold, and those images, wow! Even I looked good! Finally, TK showed us the adjacent Kanazawa Castle where we finished our tour before returning us to our hotel. Now here’s the bottom line - we could never have achieved this in six hours on our own. TK knows his city and knows all the views. He kindly offered suggestions which we went with and even incorporated some of our own. He also gave us some free time in which to shop or to explore for ourselves. And all his photos were a truly wonderful addition to or trip! So if you’re trying to decide on a new place to visit (before everyone else gets onto it), why not give Kanazawa a go? It has it all, and yet we hardly saw any overseas faces there.
