Monterrey Exklusiv: Private Highlights & Insider-Tipps

Die Tour gab einen netten Einblick in das Leben in Monterrey. Ich wurde pünktlich und mit einem schicken Auto von Polo am Hotel abgeholt und war der einzige Gast auf der Tour. Im Vergleich zu anderen Touren von Viator war es zum Glück möglich diese Tour auch alleine zu buchen! Die Tour wurde in einwandfreiem Englisch abgehalten und der Guide war sehr aufmerksam und nett. Es gab einen Kaffee zur Begrüßung und im Laufe der Tour wurde auch Wasser und ein Getränk ähnlich wie Gatorade angeboten (gekühlt!). Snacks waren nicht beinhaltet, aber nach einem Frühstück hält man die paar Stunden auch gut ohne aus. Der Guide hat meine Interessen abgefragt und so waren wir z.B. nicht im Museum, dafür bei einer weiteren Kirche. Der Ausblick bei den Fahnen des Mirador del Obispado war super, auch die Basílica del Roble, Catedral Metropolitana de Monterrey und Macroplaza waren einen Besuch wert. Besonders gut hat mir auch die (an sich nicht besonders auffällige oder hübsche) Markthalle gefallen, da man hier in den Alltag der Bevölkerung einzutauchen scheint. Nach 4 Stunden wurde ich zum Hotel zurückgefahren. An sich läuft man an diesem Tag eine ganze Weile, was ich sehr gut fand, und je nach Uhrzeit der Tour und/oder Wetter ist unbedingt Sonnenschutz angebracht und ggf. ein Hut/eine Kappe.

Positiv: + Abholung am Hotel wie vereinbart. + Fahrt zu interessanten Aussichtspunkten und Plätzen. + Hintergrunderklärungen zur Geschichte und zur Religion. + Gute Auswahl des Programms. + Keine Hektik + Gute Englischkenntnisse. + Netter Abschluss bei einem Bier.

Wonderful experience seeing sites of Monterey I would not have done on my own. I especially enjoyed the city market, authentic tacos and even bought myself a lovely woven bag (I rarely purchase souvenirs, but I just had to have it).

my guide " alex " was fluent in english and on the city tour showed me a lot of things/places. its well worth it. if it's your 1st time in mty, after unpacking & settling in, take the city tour.

Great tour. Highly recommended. Our guides were very knowledgeable. My fiancé and I had a great time. Even though we were there for a weekend trip we were able to see so much of the city. Definitely worth it!

We came to Monterrey and wanted to learn more and get better acquainted with our southern neighbor (we are from Dallas Texas) Our tour guide talked to us the entire tour giving us fascinating facts about the city. In the center of the city was a high hill that had a beautiful overlook giving us a 360 degree view of Monterrey. There is also a beautiful centuries old building with beautiful architect that was once the bishops palace and also was a fort during the Battle of Monterrey. The views were worth the tour alone. We also toured a very old extravagant Catholic Church. Don’t miss the story of the old tree that inspired the name of the saint and the church. We drove around the city center where the government buildings cluster around a lovely park. If you want to fall in love with Monterrey this is the tour for you. Thanks NORESTE ADVENTURES. We are repeat customers and will repeat some more.

Polo was a great guide who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very patient with me despite the fact I was a bit out of condition and had problems with the speed. Even for me, the hike is well worth it! The experience at the caves themselves was very informative and entertaining. Everything about this experience was incredible.

This City Tour was a wonderful tour. Polo was our guide and I worked with Polo booking several tours while we were in Monterrey for our son's wedding. He was terrific! He was flexible, communicative and was our tour guide on all of the tours. This tour gave us a real feel for what Monterrey was like. Our first stop was an incredible view of Monterrey. He also brought a historian and archaeologist for additional information. 17 of our family and friends went on this tour and loved it. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Monterrey.
