Zeitreise Ajanta & Ellora: 2 Tage Indiens Höhlen-Wunder

Netter Fahrer, professioneller Service, im Grunde alles gut - vom Preis abgesehen. Man hat kein Problem, auch kurzfristig vor Ort einen Fahrer zu engagieren und dabei nur den halben Preis für die gleiche Leistung zu zahlen.

We had booked an 11 day tour through Maharasthra, and Karnataka to Goa. It was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better driver than Mannan. On the first day, he picked us up from the hotel on time. With his safe driving skills (even on gravel roads), we felt comfortable in the car at all times. He knew delicious restaurants for lunch breaks and places of interest along the way. Starting the day early was also no problem and spontaneous stops were no problem. All in all, we can only recommend booking a tour! Wir hatten eine 11 Tagestour durch Maharasthra, und Karnataka nach Goa gebucht. Es war perfekt. Wir hätten nicht nach einem besseren Fahrer als Mannan. Am ersten Tag holte er uns pünktlich am Hotel ab. Mit seiner sicheren Fahrweise (auch auf Gravelroads) fühlten wir uns zu jeder Zeit wohl im Auto. Er wusste leckere Restaurants für Lunchpausen und Sehenswürdigkeiten auf der Strecke. Früher Start in den Tag war ebenfalls kein Problem und spontane Stops waren kein Problem. Alles in allem können wir es nur empfehlen eine Tour zu buchen!!

We booked transportation for the two-day tour. Our driver Samad is very responsible and attentive. We are happy with the service.

Deepak did a wonderful job explaining the rich history. We spent about 3 hours in each location. It is a 2-hour drive to Ajanta from Aurangabad. It is advised to wear sandals for easy removal of footwear in the caves.

I had a great time in Aurangabad with guided tour to both Ajanta and Ellora caves including Bibi Ka Maqbara. Guide Deepak and driver Slueiman were very friendly and explained the significance of caves and sculptures in detail. I would highly recommend this tour company. They were spot on in terms of timing to pick me from the hotel where I was staying.

We organized a 430AM pickup at the station. The driver was in front of the door pr the train at the platform. He was always on time and supergood with kids needs. Last day we asked last second to visit a temple and we were late for the airport. The driver was kind enough to drive faster than usual to bring us perfectly on time to the airport. Thanks. It has been a great expirience.

The Ajanta and Ellora caves are extremely impressive and beautiful. Deepak, our guide, was perfect in giving the adequate amount of information. He pointed out the most awesome art. Without him, we wouldn’t have seen so much and wouldn’t have known about the stories behind. We also visited the Bibi-Ka-Maqbara, beautiful, and visited a facility where the local fabric is woven.

Our schedule required a driving tour to and from Mumbai and then visits to the Ajanta and Ellora caves (3 days total). A friend recommended Mr Sherkan and I couldn’t have been more pleased. He was easy to reach and communicate with, the price was very fair, and he arranged for an excellent driver (with a clean and comfortable air conditioned car) and very knowledgable guide. These caves are spectacular and more than worth the effort, expense, and time to get there. There are other sites to see in Aurangabad, and Mr Sherkan offered to arrange for us to see them, but our schedule did not allow time. I highly recommend his services. You will be treated very well and get to enjoy these hidden gems of India.

This time, Mr. Rajesh Raut guided us to the Ellora cave temples and the local market. Mr. Rajesh explained about Ellora in fluent Japanese, and it was a very meaningful trip. He also guided us to the local market, where there were no tourists, and we were able to have an experience that we don't usually have. Furthermore, when we told him that we were a little tired as we are elderly, he guided us to his house and we were able to take a short rest. It was a good experience that gave us the opportunity to learn about the real life of an ordinary Indian family. We are grateful for Mr. Rajesh's hospitality. If we have the opportunity, we would like to visit India with him as our guide. Thank you very much.

If you are staying in Aurangabad be prepared for some lengthy and bumpy journeys to and from the caves, especially Ajunta Caves. However, it is an effort worth making as the caves, both Ellora and Ajunta , are amazing and didn't disappoint. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, which provided an extra and welcome dimension to the visits.
