Grand Canyon: Dein Unvergessliches Privat-Wanderabenteuer!

Matt was our guide, and so knowledgeable and easy to be with. The planning was great, including dinner reservations during our stay.

Matt was incredible and we highly recommend! We did a full day private hike of the Grand Canyon in Aug 2025 and we’re so grateful for all his knowledge, expertise and kindness during our tour. I had some limitations with the hikes I could do and Matt made sure we got the full experience regardless. He also set up a lovely lunch and drove us to and from the Grand Canyon from our resort. Thank you so much, Matt!

We did a two-hour hike into the Grand Canyon in early August, guided by Matt. It was an unforgettable experience! Matt was an excellent guide—very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive, yet also friendly and approachable. We stopped at several natural points of interest along the way, and each stop was a chance to learn something new about the Canyon thanks to Matt’s clear and engaging explanations. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the Grand Canyon in a meaningful and authentic way!

Terrific guide, truly sensitive to our multigenerational family’s needs, comfortable travel vehicle, good lunch, knowledgeable, kind, witty. Handled a minor medical emergency with grace and swiftness. Photographed important moments to share with us. Our child also adored Maddie. Everything possible to be rates, 5 stars.

Matt B was the perfect host today in the Grand Canyon for our family. He curtailed the day to fit our needs and went above and beyond to educate us on the geology.

A wonderful day spent with our Good Trip Adventures guide Laura. Everything exceeded expectations - from the reservation to the pre-hike planning and the actual tour itself. Laura was exceptional! She was knowledgeable, informative, interesting and attentive. The entire excursion (including pickup and drop-off and our sunset "picnic") was awesome, including the numerous canyon viewpoints and photo opps - making for a perfect day. Ask for Laura by name if doing this excursion. You won't be disappointed!

Best decision we made was to book this tour!! And Matt made it even more incredible! We got snow overnight, and Matt had spikes for our shoes to make sure we could do our hike. We saw many people slipping and sliding. Not us! Matt was a wealth of knowledge. He told us about how the canyon was formed and then showed us, as we made our way down, how we were going backwards in time. He pointed out fossils and edible plants and facts about how the native people survived in this area. He was also very considerate of everyone in our group, making sure to take breaks when needed. Without this tour, we would have been lost and not made it below the rim. And now we’re part of the 5%!! Matt even prepared the most delicious lunch for us, managing to satisfy a strict vegan, a couple of part-time vegans, and a non-vegan!! It was the most enjoyable day of our already amazing trip, and we are so thankful for Matt!! If you are on the fence, just book this tour!! You’ll be so happy you did!

Our guide Francesca was great. Highly recommend her! The Grand Canyon is so beautiful and she showed us so much of it in a day!

Our tour guide Drew was, simply put, incredible. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and encourages you to push yourself while being gentle if you aren't ready to go to the edge. He provided a great lunch and was very accommodating for bathroom breaks whenever needed. Wildlife is always unpredictable, but we got to see a harem of massive elk that we got very close to without being in any danger. This is an essential service the first time through the canyon. I only wish we did this the first day. We loved it.

We had an amazing day with our guide Matt. His knowledge of the canyon and the plants, wildlife, etc was a highlight. Lunch was amazing ! Matt put a lot of care into the whole day and we really enjoyed ourselves!!! Would 100 percent recommend. From our 11 year old to our 25 year old, everyone enjoyed !
