Wir waren vollends zufrieden mit unserer Jeep Tour und können das nur empfehlen! Unser Guide hat schon etliche Jahre Erfahrung und konnte uns unterwegs sehr viel erzählen. Es war ein gutes Gefühl mit einem Ortskundigen unterwegs zu sein. Zudem muss man sich auf dem Weg nach oben nicht um den Motor seines Mietwagens und auf dem Weg nach unten nicht um die Bremsen sorgen. Die Jeeps sind augenscheinlich in einem top Zustand und die Guides wirklich toll! Unbedingt die Tour am Morgen buchen! Die Aussicht soll dann besser sein, was bei uns zwar nicht der Fall war aber es war trotzdem extrem beeindruckend, und zudem sind die Massen so früh noch nicht oben! Die vielen Autos kamen erst als wir schon auf dem Rückweg waren! Das ist ein riesiger Vorteil! In der Höhe kann die Luft schon mal etwas dünner werden aber wir hatten keine Probleme mit Kopfschmerzen oder Übelkeit, man schnauft aber vielleicht etwas. Dafür geht man aber auch nur langsam umher und hat nicht mehr als eine halbe Stunde Aufenthalt. Der Souvernirshop ist sehr groß aber auch sehr teuer. Der Preis für die Jeep Tour ist angemessen. Es war eine der besten Erlebnisse auf unserer Colorado-Rundreise! Wir waren sehr glücklich!

Lots of communication days before the jeep tour. Driver/guide was early. He was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Plenty of time and opportunities to get photos. John (guide) had incredible patience as we peppered him with so many questions!

Absolutely amazing. Our guide and driver John was wonderful. He knew so much about the history and current. Plus his stories on traveling the peak were great. The drive seemed to go quickly and smoothly that we were at the top it seemed in no time even tho we made stops along the way and a bathroom stop at the cafe. When we come back, we still won’t drive it. We will leave the driving to the experts like John S.

Make sure to dress in layers, that includes head and hands. Be ready to have your breathe taken away.

Our Jeep tour to the summit of Pikes Peak was unforgettable, thanks to our incredible guide, James. He was knowledgeable, personable, and pointed out so many fascinating sights along the way. You could tell he was just as disappointed as we were, because he genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. His calm professionalism and positive attitude made all the difference, and we truly appreciated how he kept us informed and pointed out other sites as we waited it out. I’m so glad we did, because the views from the summit were absolutely breathtaking! The small group format made the experience even better. It felt personalized, and we were able to ask questions throughout the drive up and down. James made this a memorable adventure from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour (and James!) to anyone visiting Colorado Springs. Recommending to friends and family!

We had an amazing trip to the Summit of Pike’s Peak with John! We felt extremely safe, were able to relax and enjoy the scenery and appreciated all the information he shared with our group. Highly recommend, it was a great experience.

Our tour guide was awesome! Very knowledgeable guy on the mountains and areas of Colorado! He knew so many facts and stopped at multiple places to take pictures for us! Jeep was clean and comfortable. We even got some great food recommendations from him. Amazing experience!

So glad we booked this tour instead of driving ourselves. We were both able to enjoy it without the stress of driving. Our guide was Dave who was great. There was a wind advisory the night before our 9am tour. We had the option to reschedule, cancel or cross our fingers and hope the road to the summit was open. Due to our flight time, we took our chances and after about a half hour delay the road was opened. Dave had a lot of interesting information on the ride up. He also recommended a tapas restaurant close to our meeting place which was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour vs driving yourselves.
