Catemaco & Los Tuxtlas: Mexikos Mystische Dschungel-Odyssee

this trip was enjoyable however don't be deceived on advertisements and costs. I spent many hours looking through similar tours. some states that it goes to a cigar factory and some to a natural reserve. all are slightly different. after many hours and consulting my travel partner we chose the cigar factory included but not the natural park. turns out that our first stop was at a museum. this was unpaid and we had to pay extra. since we were in the vehicle with another family we had the choice to either pay or sit in the heat and wait on the other family. we did go to the cigar factory and the falls. we then went to the park which once again we needed to pay extra and were in a situation to sit and wait or pay. they left the monkeys for the end of the day as the highlight. we went by boat to the island. the boat stopped and we threw some bananas and monkeys came. we were there for a total of 2 minutes. they then brought us to another island were there were different monkeys. again Maybe 3 minutes tops. in total the highlight of the day lasted 5 minutes and was disappointing. in saying that I have to say our tour guide was kind and informative and I enjoyed the long ride home comparing my home culture with his Mexican culture. his company and the drive was better than the tourist trap we had fallen in for the day. He even stopped and bought some taco supplies and pinnaple juice for us. he was great but the product he represented was disappointing.

<p>this is another beautiful place of veracruz it has a lot of activities to do in one day. it take up all day but it is well worth it.</p>

Estaba por concluir la secundaria tenía 14 años (no pude modificar la fecha al final pero todo esto ocurrió el 12 de marzo del 2006), en la escuela planearon llevar a los alumnos a un viaje a Catemaco jamás imagine que sin lugar a duda sería una increíble experiencia y la mejor decisión de mi vida no recuerdo los nombres a los lugares que fuimos a visitar 😔 pero no olvido el campamento a cargo del señor José las bellas noches al ver luciérnagas, sapos y cuánto más por admirar la cascada la recuerdo perfectamente y simplemente con la brisa empaparte, recuerdo que nos llevaron en lancha para llegar a una playa, en el transcurso nos llevaron al hábitat de monos vimos garzas, etc. Lamentablemente no tengo fotos de mi experiencia y es lo único que me duele pero, sin duda fue lo mejor en mi vida y estoy completamente segura que volveré a ir 😊...

Excelente servicio, nuestro guía Rafael, muy paciente y nos dió excelente información de los lugares que se visitaron, logramos acudir a todos los lugares que se contrataron con tiempos suficientes para visitarlos, buenos lugares recomendados para comer, buenos guías locales.

Excelente recorrido. Vale mucho la pena. Los lugares que visitas son realmente hermosos. Una magnifica experiencia. Y nuestro guía excelente el sr Marín conocía todo del recorrido. Hizo de la distancia algo muy ameno y podemos decir que conocimos mucho gracias a él. Súper recomendable . Visiten Veracruz es muy bonito tranquilo y familiar. además de tener exquisita comida a muy buenos precios . Gracias por su hospitalidad

Lo único que se tendría que mejorar es la organización al momento de recoger a los participantes ya que es pérdida de tiempo. El tour vale la pena es un magnifico lugar. El guía fue muy atento.
