Private Tour of Blarney Castle, Cork City and Kinsale

We had a wonderful day on our private tour to Blarney Castle, Kinsale, Cork, and Cobh. Maurice was our driver and he was terrific. Most importantly, we were 1st in line at Blarney Castle, and that started our day off splendidly. We went straight up the stairs and our group was first to the Blarney Stone on top of the castle. On the way down, we visited all the remaining areas of the castle and could already see the line was at least an hour long wait. We roamed the gardens, saw the Blarney owners' house, and learned a lot of history. We ate lunch and walked a bit in Kinsale, stopped for some photos in Cork, and then visited the Cobh Cathedral. Maurice knew the best picture spots and was really a joy to be with for the day. We all highly recommend him as your guide/driver.

Our cruise ship had to skip the port due to weather delays. Although we were unable to take the tour, Maurice was so kind and understanding. We hope to return next year and will definitely book this tour again!

Maurice was AMAZING! Informative, funny and professional. The 5 star review began with his communication prior to the tour itself. He picked us up on time in his beautiful car and we were off. The sun came out, and he told us about the history of the landmarks and places we passed along the way. If you take one tour while in Ireland, this should be it!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. My family and I had an amazing time with Mr. Maurice as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history and folklore of the area around Cork, and was delightful to listen to. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys history, beautiful scenery and delicious pub food! My family and I are already discussing when we can come back, and when we do we will definitely be using Mr. Maurice for another tour.

Our guide Maurice (Mossie) was fabulous. It was like being given a tour by an old friend! We felt well taken care of and Mossie knew exactly what we should see! Don’t hesitate to book this tour!
