Mika Guisse and his driver Samba are great people. Me and my sister were a bit worried before we came to Senegal as we didn’t know so much about the culture and how things work in country. Immediately when we met Mika we felt safe. He is realiable, secure, efficient, very kind and really organized. I would like to describe him as a real ”peoples person” doing the absolute best for his customers!!! I also want to mention that me and my sister have travelled a lot as travelling is the best we know. We enjoy to see new countries and experience different cultures. I can honestly say that this tour with Mika is the absolute best tour we EVER experienced before! The tour was full of new experiences every day, not a single one was disappointing, just the opposite! It has been terrific in every way 👍👍👍! We are definitely trying to go on another tour with Mika in the future.

The whole trip was very well organised and planned. We managed to achieve all the objectives planned and more. The guide was very helpful and tended to our every needs. The locations are beautiful and let you enjoy every part of the local culture. For an introduction in Senegal this tour is the best. It touches maybe the most important places in this amazing country. I highly recommend using Mika's expertise in planning a trip to Senegal.

What can I say? Senegal is not the easiest country to travel in but Mika and his staff make it impeccable and comfortable! I was assigned a GREAT guide and driver (Malang Sanga and the driver Samba) and they were incredibly great. Malang speaks perfect English and although he is only 25 years old, he is mature far beyond his age. He knows the country and everyone in it! I’m a photographer and an avid drone flyer and Malang already knows all the great places to fly drones and makes it all happen so easily. He also flies them and so he was enthusiastic and encouraging about the work we were doing at all times. But you don’t have to be a photographer. You may love food or history or sightseeing or adventure. What is great about Mika’s company is that he will tailor the tour perfectly to suit your needs and desires. And he knows pretty much everyone in the country so it’s easy to get things right, just for you. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We were lucky enough to experience an incredible journey through Africa, exploring Senegal and Gambia—and a huge part of what made it so special was our guide, Mika. From the very beginning, he was kind, helpful, professional, and truly passionate about what he does. Mika was more than just a guide; he was a true travel companion. He always took the time to explain the history, culture, and traditions of the places we visited, answering every question with patience and insight. He made us feel safe, welcomed, and completely immersed in the local experience, showing us hidden gems off the typical tourist path. Thanks to Mika and our driver Ali, this became one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. Absolutely incredible trip with Mika. In a place where everything doesn't always go smoothly, the entire week went flawless. Mika designed an incredible itinerary showing our family the best of Senegal and Gambia that kept even 2 jaded teenagers engaged. He seems to know every single person in both countries. His knowledge and friendliness are unsurpassed, and his choices of hotels were perfect for our family. He worked hard behind the scenes and was able to think on the fly to quickly conquer any minor bumps in the road. I can't hesitate to recommend Mika strong enough for anyone hoping to visit Senegal and/or the Gambia.

Very great tour. We felt very comfortable and safe. Our guide was very attentive and on time with hotel pick ups. He’s very respected in the area from the locals. He did an amazing job with our itinerary and customizing it to our liking. I would highly recommend.

My friend and I chose to book our 8-day tour of Senegal and the Gambia with Mika at Trip Tour Senegal. We are so happy that we did and had an amazing adventure and experience! From the start of our conversation by email/Whatsapp, Mika was very responsive and helpful. He was also flexible based on our flight schedules and also what we wanted to see. We had a warm welcome at Dakar airport. Then over the next few days we were driven by Samba, who is friendly, reliable and a very safe driver. Mika, our guide, is knowledgeable and speaks many languages! We mostly had our tour in English with a little bit of French so I could practice, and some key words he taught us in Woloff. We focused on seeing a bit of the cities, cultural and wildlife highlights. The local guides that Mika chose were friendly and knowledgeable. Also, we were happy that we were supporting some of the village economy at the places we visited. It's hard to say what our favourite thing was to do. It was a big variety from city tours to relaxing time at the beach to lion and monkey walks, Bandia wildlife reserve safari, Gambia river cruise to Baboon island, trying local food, Wassu Stone circle (UNESCO), Touba Mosque, crocodile pond, and more. He chose great places to stay which were clean and comfortable. The one very basic night was in Wassu, as that is more in the countryside of Gambia. One of our favourite food experiences was a home-cooked Senegalese thieboudienne (fish, vegetables and rice) made by our driver's wife. Wonderful and they were so welcoming! All of the extended family came to say hello and welcome. We felt very special that evening. Thank you Mika and Samba! You definitely deserve the 5-star review! We had a custom 8 day tour with Mika as our guide and Samba as our driver, starting in Dakar and ending in Banjul. Before booking, Mika was very flexible and responsive in helping us work out an itinerary that fit our schedules and our desired sights. Once we got there, Mika was an amazing host. His English is perfect, he has lots of local knowledge and connections and is able to adapt on the go and ensure you have a great time regardless of unexpected local events. Samba was a competent, safe and pleasant driver. We had a wonderful time and I'd enthusiastically recommend Mika to anyone travelling to this part of the world!
