Sehr nette Altstadt mit kleinen Gasse mit ebenfalls kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants. Zentral die Kirche und der kleine Platz. Von dort aus ist man im nu am Hafen, der optisch alles toppt. Siehe Bilder. Hin gehe oder fahren. Ich meine ihr verpasst etwas.

Waren zum zweiten mal .. es war wieder hervorragend!!! Sehr netter Service und Preis- Leistungsverhältnis top! Die Produkte frisch u lokal (auch lt. Einheimmische) Leider reisen wir wieder ab, wollen uns auf diesem Wege nochmal bedanken. Liebe Grüße!

Chania hat eine sehr schöne und beeindruckende Altstadt, allerdings ist sie sehr überlaufen. Für meinen Geschmack ist der Tourismus hier erdrückend.

Wir haben Roussos zum ersten Mal getroffen, als wir einen 3-stündigen Rundgang durch die Altstadt von Chania gebucht haben. Diese Tour war hervorragend! Es deckte alles ab, was wir über die Geschichte und die Altstadt erfahren wollten. Es war sehr heiß und Roussos sorgte dafür, dass wir reichlich Getränke hatten und so viel Schatten wie möglich hatten. Seine Leidenschaft für Kreta war anziehend und wir sahen alles aus einer "lokalen" Perspektive. Ausgezeichnet. Aufgrund dieser großartigen Erfahrung haben wir Roussos am nächsten Tag wieder für einen ganzen Tag gebucht. Wir fuhren in die Berge und besuchten Dörfer entlang des Weges, ein altes Kloster, und genossen ein erstaunliches typisches Mittagessen auf Kreta, das über einem Holzfeuer gekocht wurde. Zum Abschluss besuchten wir den ältesten Olivenbaum. Wow, es war ein magischer Tag. Wir können nicht genug über unsere Erfahrungen mit Roussos sprechen, er ist absolut fantastisch und wir würden ihn und Alma de Creta jedem empfehlen, der das wahre Kreta erleben möchte. Vielen Dank an Roussos, dass er unseren Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht hat.

We have been to Chania a couple times on our own and wandered around but this tour takes you to some hidden gem you were likely not aware existed. The guide we had made it even more amazing with the history and local lore. She was fantastic and we had the best time.

Monos was incredible. We did the food walking towards a private group. He was so friendly and knew so much about the city. He gave us additional food and shopping recommendations. All of the stores and restaurants were incredibly kind and hospitable. The gyro was the BEST! Would highly recommend this tour for a family! ‘Vamos con Manos!’

Goldy expertly guided our group of four through historical, architectural and cultural Old Town. We visited with artisans, tasted the flavors of Chania’s special foods. I highly recommend this lovely walk!

Wonderful tour of Chania Old Town. We learned so much about the island’s history and mythology, then stopped for some delicious Greek food and drinks at a cozy local spot. Our guide, Goldy, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and patient—she took great photos and led us to hidden gems we would have never find on our own. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic guide in Aria, she was super friendly and very knowledgeable. She tailored the walk and information to our interests and we gained a good insight into the history and culture of Chania from her as we ambled through the narrow pretty streets, some of which we wouldn’t have found or fully appreciated without her! We enjoyed some tastings along the way: olive oils, honey, desserts and finished off the tour with a selection of local foods and a drink (all included in the price). Would highly recommend this guided walk and suggest you do it early on in your stay to appreciate the rich culture and layered history of this beautiful old town.

We had the pleasure of a wonderful tour this week with Manos. He bought the history and culture of Chania old town to life, he is so knowledgable. We went to parts of the old town we’d never have visited on our own. The pace of the tour was great for us, and Manos supplied treats along the way. We finished the tour with a glass of wine, mezze and an interesting discussion on all things Crete. Highly recommended.
