Freiheit unter Wasser: Dein 3-Tages Open Water Tauchkurs!

Ich kam mit einer Freundin nach Roatan, die gerade ihren Advanced Diving Kurs bei West Bay Divers absolvierte (sie sagt, es war übrigens die beste Erfahrung). Ich beschloss, mich für den Open Water Scuba Course anzumelden, damit ich in Zukunft mit ihr tauchen kann. Ich war jedoch ein schrecklicher Taucher. Ich kämpfte mit Angst, mit meiner Maske, mit meinen Ohren. Gaby war mein Retter. West Bay bot uns nicht nur eins zu eins Coaching an, Gaby konnte auch sehen, dass ich Probleme hatte und verbrachte ihre Zeit damit, mich langsam zum Tauchen zu bringen. Wir beschlossen, den Discover Scuba Diver Kurs zu machen, was für mich die bessere Option war. Ich kann nicht genug ausdrücken, wie sehr sie mir das Gefühl gegeben hat, gehört, sicher und verstanden zu werden. Sie ermutigte mich auf dem ganzen Weg, die bestmögliche Erfahrung zu machen, und tröstete mich, wenn ich kämpfte (was ich WIRKLICH kämpfte). Ohne Gaby würde ich wahrscheinlich nie wieder versuchen zu tauchen. Aber jetzt freue ich mich darauf, wieder ins Wasser zu gehen und meine Tauchreise fortzusetzen. Ich kann dieses Unternehmen und seine großartigen Mitarbeiter / Tauchexperten nur wärmstens empfehlen! !

We can't recommend Kelvin Mann at West Bay Dive Shop enough for anyone looking to get their dive certification! From start to finish, he was an exceptional instructor for both my husband and me. Kelvin is incredibly thorough, taking the time to clearly explain every skill and concept, which made us feel confident and well-prepared. His patience was outstanding—whether we needed extra practice or a bit of clarification, he was always calm, supportive, and never rushed us. Kelvin’s experience is evident, and we especially appreciated how he prioritized safety without sacrificing the fun. He has a unique ability to balance the seriousness of diving with a relaxed, positive atmosphere, which made the whole learning experience so enjoyable. We always felt completely at ease, knowing we were in such capable hands. Thanks to Kelvin’s professionalism, kindness, and expertise, we not only earned our PADI certification but also developed a real love for diving and feel like we found a new friend in Roatan in Kelvin. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and fun dive instructor, we wholeheartedly recommend Kelvin! Also, Mary, was the sweetest and most helpful in the Dive shop and deserves kuddos as well.

Sean was my dive instructor and he was amazing. Super nice chill guy who did a great job making me feel at ease the entire time. Scuba can be a bit intimidating but he made it relaxed and fun. Very knowledgeable and thorough going over all of the information and explaining everything. The dive sites were amazing with the reef so alive with tons of fish and seeing eagle rays and turtles. I felt comfortable and confident in my scuba training before it was even over. I really had an unbelievable experience diving in Roatan and Sean was really the one who made my entire trip. If you're considering diving, do it. Ask for Sean. He is the man!

Our experience diving at West Bay Divers was excellent. My GF and I had Makayla as an instructor and she was really great and patient with us. We did a refresh and discovery dive. Would highly recommend anyone from Roatan to dive here.

We had an amazing time diving with West Bay Divers! Our instructor, Kelvin, was professional, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He showed us some wonderful underwater sights and made sure our diving experience was safe and fun. He also certified my daughter during our trip. She felt confident and at ease with the help of his instruction. The entire staff at West Bay Divers was friendly and we felt well taken care of every step of the way. I highly recommend West Bay Divers to anyone looking to dive in Roatan. We'll definitely be diving with them again when we return!

Got all three of our teen children open water certified scuba diving and took a family dive on their last day. It was great and our instructor. Mekala was perfect with all of us. We needed a refresher course cause it was 20 years since our last dive We also stayed at the Kimpton. Both were five star and highly recommend.

My son and I completed our Open Water scuba certification with West Bay Divers and had a fantastic experience. Joel was our instructor, and he is very knowledgeable and thorough but also made it VERY fun - he is always smiling and kept us laughing while we were learning. He also pointed out a lot of marine life during our dives - more than I expected to see! I highly recommend them!

We had an unbelievable experience with West Bay Dive. A full week of open water PADI cert for the kids, and dives for the whole family. We probably did 8 dives in total? It was completely custom to what our family wanted - we added throughout the week, we felt 100% safe with our instructor Joel - and they took great care of our family at all times. Joel was completely knowledgeable about all marine life, he pointed out and identified countless fish, rays, crabs, turtles and more. They are all wonderful stewards of conservation on the reef at all times. If you want to dive in Roatan - I cannot recommend this organization enough - and request Joel for your whole week! He will take great care of you - no matter what kind of dive experience you are looking for.

Fantastic experience for my 12yo daughter and 14yo son getting their padi open water certifications! Arturo was the most wonderful, knowledgeable and kind instructor! I recommend him as a teacher and dive master 100%. My husband and I joined the kids on their open water dives. He pointed out so many fish from a huge barracuda down to a tiny pipe fish, jaw fish to puffer fish. He also showed us a spotted moray eel, sting rays, and turtles…just an abundance of wildlife! Arturo will be certifying our other two kids (in a few years)! The entire operation is a beautiful dance of professionalism (Barny guided us on every step) and organization from our dive lockers to our groupings. Best dive shop I’ve ever interacted with!!
