Penang: Unvergessliche Street Food Tour – Lokal Schlemmen!

Toller Guide! Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht, wir haben viel gelernt. Auch wenn wir schon eine Food Tour in KL ge gemacht haben - hat er sich extra auf uns eingestellt - vorher genau gefragt - damit wir auch viele neue Sachen entdecken. Das ist ihm gelungen!!!!! Sachen, die wir sonst nicht gegessen hätten. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Wir haben die Abendtour gebucht und waren mehr als zufrieden. Wir haben fünf unterschiedliche Stände besucht, die wir ohne die Tour wohl nie aufgesucht hätten bzw. wir uns gar nicht getraut hätten alles zu probieren (da man meistens ja gar nicht weiß, was man eigentlich isst :-) ) Wir haben einen tollen Eindruck von der vielfältigen Küche in Penang erhalten. Wir können eine solche Tour nur empfehlen! Man sieht ein paar Ecken der Stadt abseits der touristischen Hotspots und erfährt gleichzeitig etwas über die Kultur - was will man mehr! I went on a food tour with my son in Penang. Kevin was fantastic, he took us to 5 different places, and we got to taste lots of different foods. He explained the origins of the dishes, talked a lot about the fusion of cultures within Penang. He was informative and really helpful. We were stuffed by the end of the tour, so much food!!! He also took us on a drive around Penang and gave us some insight to the history. Thank you Kevin, I would certainly recommend you to any friends who plan to come to Penang.

**Amazing Local Food Experience with Kevin!** Just finished this food tour last night and it was fantastic. Kevin was an awesome guide who took us to hidden spots we never would have found on our own. We got super lucky being the only ones on the tour, which made it feel really personal. Kevin was happy to answer all our questions and explain the local food scene and history. It felt more like exploring with a local friend than a typical tour. By the end, we understood so much more about the area - not just the food, but the culture behind everything. Kevin really made this an authentic “eat like a local” experience. Very good tour. We had 5 different locations to go to and Kevin was very informative about all the food and all the locations. Everyone had different highlights. For me it was the pork sausage on the Chinese jetty and also the Indian at the end of the night. Well worth the time.

The tour guide Kevin Wong was excellent and has huge wealth of knowledge . Amazing tour and loved each place we went. Sone of food not to my taste but was well worth doing

Knowledgeable guide. So helpful to be picked up and dropped off and be exposed to foods we would never otherwise have chosen ourselves. Great experience.

Junie was absolutely amazing. Not only was this a food tour but a history of Penang culture. Driving meant that we were able to cover large distances, Junie is magic at squeezing into tight spaces. I tried about 15 dishes, im vegetarian, and Junie made sure I was well catered for. My favourite was the lady making the pancakes, and the first noodle dish, followed closely by the paper thin Dhosa. If you get hold of the Penang Street food Map, you see many of the dishes. The Clan jetties are super interesting and the fried tofu was to die for. 5 Stars.

Fantastic experience! Mr Kevin picked us up from our hotel and drove us around Georgetown. We made 5 different stops to try multiple food items which represented the different cultures living in Georgetown.

Kevin was a great host and took us to amazing off the beaten track eateries. We learnt so much about the various cultures and foods. We all loved it,
