We leave behind the ‘Capital of the Highlands’, for a full-day small-group adventure to the magical Isle of Skye. We drive along the world-famous Loch Ness, home of the elusive monster, and onwards through the mountains towards the west coast. Majestic mountains give way to vast sea lochs, once used by Vikings as an access route to our lands. We stop at the romantic Eilean Donan Castle with time for you to explore inside (optional, pay locally). After crossing the Skye Bridge, learn about the island’s myths and legends, as well as the true tales of rival clans and a fugitive prince. Enjoy lunch in the main town of Portee and visit the colourful harbor. Explore the Isle of Skye’s stunning coastline, and marvel at the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, and Kilt Rock. Take in the last of Skye’s otherworldly landscape as we drive through the Highlands back to Inverness.

Our day exploring the Isle of Skye with William was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the region. He took us to some truly interesting spots, including a memorable hike at the Fairy Pools that was a highlight of the trip. The day was long, but every moment was worth it—filled with stunning scenery, great stories, and personalized touches that made the experience feel special.

Sonya made this tour an unforgettable experience. She kept us on schedule while also making stops along the way to take in the scenery and beauty that the Isle of Skye has to offer. The day was well paced and gave adequate time to take in the highlights of the Isle of Skye. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle!

Sonia was so bubbly and funny! Her bus tour was wonderful. We stopped several times to take photos of the stunning landscapes, had lunch in Portree, and drove all the way up the Quiraing mountain for a breathtaking view and a short 20-minute stroll. Thank you, Sonia!

We had the most lovely time! We were able to squeeze in so many special stops that will stick with me forever! Our tour guide Rock, aka Craig, was fantastic and full of so many fun facts and fairy stories. We loved every minute of this tour and highly recommend it to anyone thinking about doing an Isle of Skye Tour!

Very nice tour with knowledgeable tour guide stopping at very interesting places. I liked very much the geology information about the area. Just the lunch stop could be a bit longer I enjoyed the tour and I would recommend it

- It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
- Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
