Epic Mutianyu Great Wall: Morning Adventure from Beijing

Our family of two had an absolutely amazing day with Mubus visiting the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. The entire trip was so well-organized. The bus was clean and comfortable, and we left right on time from DongZhiMen station. Kevin, our guide, was a true professional. On the way, he gave us a history lesson that got everyone excited. He explained our options clearly: we could take the cable car up and the toboggan down, which we did, and it was a blast! The Wall itself was amazing. The views of the mountains rolling away into the distance are something I'll never forget. Kevin's advice was golden: he told us to wear sturdy shoes (so glad we did, the steps are no joke!) and to bring a hat and water. We felt so well looked after. I can't imagine a better way to experience the Great Wall. Highly recommend Mubus and especially Kevin!

Mubus and Kevin made our Great Wall visit seamless. Kevin advised us on the best family-friendly route western route .He suggests we take the cable car up and the toboggan down, which we absolutely loved! The views from the wall are just like the postcards, but so much more powerful in person. Kevin kept the history lessons short and sweet for everyone and he was so patient, helped everyone what we need.His advice to bring snacks and water was spot-on. Very organized. Very clear instructions were given days before. Kevin was our tour guide and he explains everything very well. I truly enjoyed listening to him and he made instructions which usually would be boring but he made it simple and enjoyable. At first I was very confused on which side to go to or what is the process. Like I said, the process went smoothly. I chose to go both sides. Took the east route first. Took the cable car, up and took the toboggan down. I highly suggest the toboggan ride!!!! So fun. I recommend buying the lunch buffet. Believe me after walking stairs almost 4 hours, I do not have the energy to search for food. The Great Wall lives up to it's expectations and more. It is truly one of the great wonders of the world. Well organised. The lunch was sumptuous and tasty. Had enough time to see what we wanted. The tour guide gave clear instructions for the day. The day went well.

Great, but hard day, out to the Great Wall of China. Finding the meeting point was easy, and check-in was fine. Good commentary on the trip to the wall, and good explanation of how the MuBus facilities work. (Probably too much explanation!) Lunch was adequate, fair quality, and lots of it. Good trip back.

Kevin from Mubus made our trip to the Great Wall exceptional. His professionalism is evident in everything he does. His English is perfect, and he provided such detailed and interesting commentary. He was constantly checking on the group, offering help, and making everyone feel comfortable and cared for. The Wall itself was magnificent, a true highlight. We choose the western line as our travel line when we on bus Kevin helps us cable car tickets that make us very easy to see the wall . You must wear a comfortable shoes if you plan go to 20 tower because the steps is very need you walking more. We really enjoyed the trip today because of Kevin's excellent service and guidance, we will never forget the nice view of Great Wall of China. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour to everyone.

If you're taking a Mubus tour, you absolutely want Kevin as your guide. His command of English is fantastic, and he explains complex history in a simple, fun understandable. We arrive at meeting points at 7:20am and they are already there , everyone wear the red uniform with Mubus words on it , they welcome us warmly , it take us 1.5 hours to the Great Wall , Kevin helps all the tickets we need on the bus . The Great Wall scenery was stunning, we do enjoy it very much and will never forget the experience. You must try the toboggan from the Great Wall there because it is really is fun and amazing. Kevin made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. A full five-star recommendation! We love it and best wish for Kevin and his team hope them has more people to know.

The first bus arrived a few minutes late and was very, very dirty. The microphone took a while to work, and the historical explanation wasn't that in-depth compared to the time we had. They don't explain well that everything can be done on foot and make you think the cable cars are absolutely necessary. They sell them for more than online. It seems the most important thing is selling extras—pure business! The food offered at the buffet is pretty average to poor. It looks tidy and clean, but most items are cold or lukewarm instead of hot, and the teas are good. The bus back was much better and clean. They always tell you the return trip takes an hour, but they should tell you it's almost a full two hours. Overall, it covers the transportation costs, but everything else is very average.

The Great Wall was incredibly beautiful, we use cable take us to 14 tower and climb all the way up to 20 tower which is high point of the whole Great Wall. It is really is nice view to say all the walls in your eyes. Such a good experience and memory :)

We booked the Mubus tour and were lucky to have Kevin as our guide. Kevin kept everything running like clockwork. He never let us fall behind schedule. He worked as a tour guide already 10 years and he is really professional. Not only is his English perfect, but he is also a very caring person. The Great Wall is a must-see, as you know it is one of 8 wonders in the world. If you haven’t been to the Great Wall you haven’t been to China. GreatWall view is really great. You will never forget if you see it. Mubus company is well done in their job . The Mubus Service Center is fantastic to rest and enjoy waiting time when you wait bus back to Beijing .Kevin enhanced the experience with his stories and guidance.
