Unforgettable Sydney & Bondi: Express Hop-On Tour!

The Big Bus is as a great way to see lots of Sydney without having to do the walking or the driving. We did both the red and the blue routes. The onboard experience is very good. The drivers were mostly very accommodating. Upstairs is the best but tricky on rainy days although ponchos are provided which were really helpful. The only issue is that not all stops have somewhere to sit while waiting (sometimes up to 30 minutes) which was hard for an 80+ year old. And the stops changed from one day to the next so just use the app to be sure you can follow the changes. The app is great for tracking bus locations etc. Recommendation: place a symbol for which stops have seating.

It gives us the opportunity to get a nice experience visiting the city even more the beach in one day

The bus stopped in the area of many of the major sites in and around Sydney. However, in most cases they drop you off a short distance from the site, not at the actual site. The 24 hour time frame can be a bit misleading and it should be made clearer that the last bus stops just before 5pm.

The experience you are paying for is a 24 hour ticket but you only have 8 hours to use it. We were only able to hop off at the Opera house and back on, switched to the blue line and that was the last round. A great view of the city for sure but there isn’t really enough time to check things out and jump back on. If you just want a view of the city, this is for you.

Bus around the city to get to different areas is great. Tour portion was one of the worst narratives we’ve experienced. Stop numbers were announced after you left the stop. Lots of fill in music rather than narration . It is a great way to get thru the city and get to different stops.

Purchased 48 hour pass. Used two days. Enjoyed the ability to either sit in the open top or lower covered area on the double decker bus. Stops are well situated within the city. Staff and drivers were very helpful. It is very useful to download the app so you can track the buses as you move throughout the city. Good value for the money.

less expensive than buying on bus and quicker. Driver didn't have to fuss with our credit card or payment

Great opportunity to see all Sydney has to offer. The informative narration tells you all about the history and significant buildings all around.

A nice way to get around the city. The app to see where the stops are and estimated arrival times worked well; very handy to use. The one con is the disconnect between the sight seeing narratives and the timing of driving by. Especially on the red route. Many times you hear about the area and then pass it later. This should be fixed.
