Ultimate Neuschwanstein: Fairytale Castle & Alps Journey

The perfect experience for a change of pace from Oktoberfest and my favourite part of the entire Munich trip!! All the views were absolutely beautfiul, our guides were fun and super informative, and the food included was actually quite good. Despite a group of us getting lost for a portion of our bike trip (not from guide error), we did not lose any time for the rest of the tour which was a relief. Neuschwanstein was a beautiful sight and the Alps are truly breathtaking. I honestly believe this tour is essential for anyone staying in Munich who wants to see a bit more of the German countryside.

We booked our trip through Mike's Bike Rental in Munich. Our guides, Tyler & Sean, were incredible! Super friendly, very accommodating & they went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. I can't say enough good things about them!

This was a great day trip from Munich. The alps scenic backdrop was fantastic. If you are not interested in the bike tour, make sure to let them know at the start of the trip so they can take you to Hohenschwangau instead. This is a good alternative if the weather is not good. Mobility is a factor on this trip. The guides were great and completely understanding of the limitations some of the older folks on the trip had. They made sure to allow extra time for them to make the walk up and back down. The guides are fantastic and informative. Both genuinely loved what they do and it showed with how excited they were, even after an entire year of doing the same tour.

Tyler and Shaun went above and beyond. They were friendly, energetic, informative and accommodating. Tyler’s deep historical knowledge was truly impressive - he was able to field numerous follow up questions and provide detailed background on everything related to the tour. He was also generous giving other recommendations for my time in Bavaria and recommending other tour options. I will recommend this experience to anyone traveling through Munich.

Super beautiful tour of the castle and lake. We caught the last tour of the season and got to see the first snowfall and the leaves changing. Would recommend this tour to anyone who likes history and Mountain View’s. Lunch was great and the bike ride was serene.

Tyler was a great guild. He took his time explaining everything the entire time. I feel like a didn’t miss anything leaving. It was a great time and worth the price.

Great way to get out into nature for a bit! Got super lucky with beautiful fall weather. More active than we thought! Did Oktoberfest the day before so the longer drive was welcome for naps. Would recommend!
