All staff were friendly and advised on the next bus for our tour. Bus was a little cold as windows couldn’t fully close. Times were adhered to and the audio guide gave information as we drove around. The stops for swapping to alternate bus/trains for airport etc were handy for some maybe but made some routes very long. Handy to be straight outside the main train station when arriving in Vienna and be able to get back for return journey.

We always have a great experience with Hop On and Hop Off when we travel to major cities and overseas. Friendly staff in Vienna, offer 3 options, Red, Blue and Nighttime. All are good options, Red is probably the one that hits the most places to visit.

We got the 24 hour bus tour as it was apart of our package tour. It is worth it when you are travelling from abroad because you can use it for the following day. They have 4 different coloured lines that tour you through different parts of the city. You have to get off the bus to tour different lines. They provide headphones for you to connect to listen to an audio voice while on the bus. The audio guide tour comes in over 20 different languages to choose from.

Great tour, plenty of buses. Take the time to go on all the routes. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip up the mountain.

Overall, it's convenient, a good value, and stops at most of the main tourist sites but be prepared for potential longer-than-advertised waits at stops for the line you need to get to specific locations. In one case, I waited a full hour at a stop which, when you have just one day in a city, is a frustrating waste of valuable time.

Good way to see sites of the city on different routes determined by color. Commentary that was provided pre-recorded was sufficient in describing each site.

Long waits in between buses. Narrative on some bus lines just okay. Positive is it gets you from place to place.

Hard to keep up with where on map we were . Had to wait 30 min at each stop. . Big tour bus is more organized easy to follow

Not really impressed. For the amount of money €30(!) I could have done more. I have never been to Vienna before and wanted to got a sense of the city, I usually take these hop on/hop off tours all over Europe. This one was the worst. The audio was not synced to the tour. The WiFi didn’t work. Then, on my blue line tour the driver pulled over and asked everyone to get out. He told us another bus was coming in five minutes and he was on break. Everyone disembarked, which meant waiting in the cold for the five minutes. I don’t know why he didn’t just tell us all to stay on the bus until the relief bus came. Then, unbeknownst to me, the tour bus turned to red. Without an announcement or informing us we were disembarking a blue line to join a red line. When we stopped at the Opera House, I went to get off thinking I’d catch a red lined the driver rudely informed me I was ALREADY on a red line. Then he played the audio saying red line bus five or six times to drive home the point during the tour, meaning we weren’t synced. Not impressed at all.

The bus doesn’t come as regularly as I would have liked, the schedule was every 40-60 mins!, so we spent a lot of time waiting!
