Private Giza VIP: Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel & Luxury Lunch

We had a great time visiting the pyramids and Sphinx with Wael! He was an excellent tour guide—very engaging, very funny, and he knew a lot of information and could answer every question we had. He made our experience at the pyramids and Sphinx so much easier. Our driver, Ibrahim, was excellent as well, and the van we were in was very clean.

The tour began very well the driver was great picked us up at our hotel and met guide at the pyramids. Everything was going well until we told our guide we don't have cash to tip the camel guy which was included in the tour. After which the guide lost interest and want to finish the tour as fast as possible. The whole itinerary was fulfilled as promised. The lunch place was great too. They also take you to the all touristy trap place where they try to sell essential oil, papyrus etc which typical in tours like these again nothing is forced on you all you have to do is say no. The only thing that happens is attitude towards you changes. Egypt is a country where each person is trying to hustle. The tourists are just cash cows who have to be milked in USD$. And if they fail they move on very fast. I would skip this country as a whole if possible. It was the worst contries we visited in our 6 country trip. Go to Jordan instead.

Recently throughly enjoyed our day tour with Abdul. We have two young children and Abdul was friendly, informative and made us feel at ease. We only had a short stay in Cairo, Abdul tailored the tour to our needs and gave us excellent heads up on who to tip and what. Took plenty of photos so we could remember our day. Would definitely recommend the experience.

Abdul is a very good tour guide. He is a good communicator and explained all the significant sites of the tour. He was very patient, polite and answered our questions throughout the day.

What a tour! An amazing day out at the pyramids of Giza. A massive shoutout to Shreen Fares. An excellent guide who was not only warm and welcoming but incredible with her knowledge of Egyptian history! She made the day so much better. The pyramids were incredible. I’d definitely recommend having a tour guide if you’re planning a visit here. We travelled in an air conditioned vehicle which arrived on time, right outside our hotel. Big thanks to our driver Andrew who was great too. Our tour included a buffet style lunch and a camel ride. The views were impeccable and I would definitely visit again. What a place! Our driver was friendly and polite and the car was lovely. Our guide was Abdul. He provided an excellent service throughout the tour. He is very knowledgeable and friendly answering our grandson’s many questions! The pyramids are incredible and the camel ride great fun. We took amazing photos. Going inside the pyramid was also not to be missed ! We stopped for a little shopping afterwards and then onto lunch which was very tasty. Our driver returned us safely to our hotel. From start to finish communication via WhatsApp was excellent, Abdul keeping us up to date with pick up times etc. we would have no reservations about recommending this tour to others - it was brilliant.
