Warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived at the visitor centre. Our tour guide Jason was excellent, very informative and enthusiastic about the city. We found the timing of the route, its contents and 2-way engagement with Jason to be perfect. If you’re looking to get your bearings, discover the must do highlights of the city and be superbly looked after by a charming and highly skilled team, do this tour.

Fun, informative. Definitely a good value for the price. I would recommend this tour as a good introduction to Austin.

This is the second Austin City tour that I have taken, the other about 7 years ago. This tour was nice but not as extensive as the first one. Loved the double decker bus and the tour guide was knowledgeable. Great weather and a good time .

Good tour. Tour guide was friendly and included some of his own personal stories during the ride. The only 2 things that were a little bit of bummer is that the bus had to restart its engine about a little over half way through the tour so we were sitting in the sun for a good 5-10 mins. The other was that a little bit before that happened I guess there were 3 people sitting in the bottom area of the bus who decided to come to the top to sit, so people had to move around a little. It all worked out, but if the weather is good, they should situate everyone on the top of the bus, as it was a little disruptive. I would recommend this tour as it gives you a brief overview of the downtown Austin and a break from walking around on your own.

The experience was great. Our tour guide was friendly accommodating and has great sense of humor! The visitor center was very helpful! The place has a good vibe. Will do it again next visit

A really good tour of Austin. The tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. He really knew his history. He gave an honest look at the history of that city and of Texas.

Please arrive at the Austin Visitor Center located at 103 E 5th St, Austin, TX 78701, at least 15 minutes prior to your tour to be ready to board. Please note that we have limited seating on the upper and lower decks of the double decker, so there is no guarantee of upper or lower deck seating. Seating is first come first served. Your best chance at getting the seat of your choice is to start at the Austin Visitor Center located at 103 E. 5th Street, and be one of the first 35 to board.
