Wow. Wow. Our tour guide Tatiana was fabulous. It was really crowded but she was able to keep us moving. We saw so much - all so interesting. She was so good at informing and entertaining. I especially appreciated her reorienting us in terms of where we were physically in the massive building. She hustled us through the less significant sections but then would stop and spend time at things I would have walked right by not realizing their import. Her love of art, history and Rome was infectious. Three hours flew by. Cannot recommend enough.

Christian was absolutely the best tour guide that we could ask for. He was very friendly and passionate to be our guide at the vatican. He made the tour fun, interesting and we learned a lot. We have traveled a lot of places and been on many tours and felt like Christian went above and beyond, and explained in a lot more details the pertinent aspects of the vatican. He was fun and funny cracking jokes, keeping it interesting so our group was engaged throughout the entire time during the tour. I hope and recommend Christian as a tour guide forthe vatican tour because he makes it so fun, interesting, special and you will take away a lot more than reading about the history online or from any other tour guide. What a lovely tour! Sabina was an excellent guide. So knowledgeable, organized, and welcoming. Clear meeting instructions and an amazing tour packed full of information. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting more out of their visit to beautiful Italy.

We did the Vatican,SistineChapel&StPeter'sBasilica-Semi-PrivateinEnglish tour with tour guide Christian. Christian was an absolutely phenomenal guide he made the tour so entertaining and so very memorable. His explanations were enchanting and captivating. He went out of his way to make the trip truly worthwhile. The experience in the Vatican is a must and if you’re lucky doing the tour with Christian will be even more special.

This was an excellent tour. The Vatican museum, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel were lovely. The history behind all of these locations was so interesting. Our tour guide was wonderful. She made the tour so interesting, and she was extremely knowledgeable.

The inclusion of the galleries, Sistene Chapel and Basilica give you the full experience. Our guide was Sylvia who was extremely knowledgeable. A true expert. Plus her management of the group through busy areas to keep us informed and on time was quite amazing. This was a first class tour with a first class guide. Recommended

Worth the visit. Viator team members are much more experienced and professional than other local tour guides.

- St Peter’s Basilica & Sistine Chapel are subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesday mornings, access to St. Peter’s Basilica is not included due to the Papal Audience. Entry is only possible after 1:00 PM.
