VIP Dutch Icons: Giethoorn, Windmills & Afsluitdijk Tour

Very good tour. Highly recommend. Had a good time despite cloudy and rainy weather. The guide did a great job, provided good info.

We wanted to visit both Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn in one day, and this tour turned out to be the perfect choice. Despite the very classic Dutch weather, our whole family had an amazing time. The tour provided plenty of time at each stop to wander, take photos, and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. Our guide, Leidse, was an absolute delight. He was very friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept things engaging the entire day and knew how to speak multiple languages for everyone on board. We walked away knowing so much more about the Netherlands thanks to him. He also communicated really well about pick-up time and place, and introduced himself the day prior! The transportation was spacious, comfortable, and felt very safe throughout the journey. Overall, a very well-organized tour and a really memorable way to experience two beautiful places in one day! I highly recommend it!

I really have a wonderful time for the trip. Reinier is a young tour guide with passionate. He know how to speak Cantonese and Mandarin, besides English. So there is no language barrier between us if I need assistance. He is very cheerful, friendly and polite. I would like to give him a 5 star rating.

I will always remember this day. Both Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn are right out of a fairy tale and Afsluitdijk is a man made marvel. The day trip was quite comfortable as we were just 8 people and our guide Reinier was excellent. Everything was on time right from the pick up to the drop off point. We had enough time at all the places. Going first to Zaanse Schans was a big advantage as we could view the lake and the windmills before the bigger tour buses came rolling in. The cheese at the cheese factory are very good and worth buying. A big thanks to Reinier for sharing a pack of delicious stroopwafels with us in the van. I would also like to mention that we had Reinier as our guide again the next day for our trip to Rotterdam, Hague and Delft and we were extremely pleased for it.

Leidse was a great tour guide. He was funny and very knowledgeable. We had a great experience overall and would recommend it to everyone!

Great tour! Wonderful day packed full of memories. Loved learning so much about what what makes The Netherlands so special. Our guide Leidse was fun, full of energy, and was quick on his feet when our boat engine stalled in Geithoorn. Very fun, would book a tour like this again.

Booked a tour because my sister and I just didn't have time to organise or plan out the trip to venture outside of Amsterdam and the tour didn't disappoint! Our guide Leidse was fun and has all the answers to all the questions we had about the history, architecture and even birds of the Netherlands! Even for a small group he did his best to connect to everyone and made sure everyone is enjoying the tour. 100% recommend!

Leidse was a great tour guide and knew a lot about the Netherlands. He is willing to answer any questions you might have and the whole trip in general was very smooth without any big problems. It was an overall fun trip and would recommend anyone wanting to explore the Netherlands.

We enjoyed our day in the countryside. The dike was interesting and Giethoorn was charming. We also enjoyed watching the clog maker and tasting different cheeses. Our guide, Reiner, shared many interesting stories and was very friendly.
