Thames Rockets Sunset Speedboat: Breathtaking London Tour

It was a rather cold, grey and slightly drizzly day when we did our trip - 4pm in late October - my son and I, and his two kids, ages 7 and 12 respectively. Our guide, Robbie, was excellent. - lots of humour - the first part of the trip was fairly sedate with Robbie pointing out various landmarks and giving a bit of insight. Then, after we had passed under Tower Bridge, the real fun started. There is a very good sensation of speed and plenty of high speed turning which made is very exhilarating, with the speakers blasting out suitable adrenaline-fuelling music. The return journey, with the light fading and many buildings along the Thames illuminated was a different experience but a lovely “wind down” after the exhilaration. The children really enjoyed the trip. It felt well organised with good safety precautions - we were shown how to put on our life jackets correctly before boarding and there were child-sized jackets for the 7-year old. We arrived early so we got seats at the front, which was great. I would strongly suggest warm clothing - layers are good - something with a well fitting hood is fine but don’t wear a hat - I lost my baseball cap in one of the high speed turns! There is a bit of spray, but you don’t get really wet. Excellent trip - thoroughly recommend.

A brilliant trip on the Thames at high speed with a brilliant and friendly crew,Andy and Max,a nice slow trip up the Thames and then it's full power doing twists and turns and then a nice cruise on the way back with a nice commentary on the London sights,a brilliant trip on the Thames 10/10

Fantastic trip! Got to see all the major sites, take amazing pictures, whizz around on the Thames, and hear all about the city from our hilarious and friendly guide Lotta! Would absolutely recommend!

My friend and I went on the Thames Rocket today. Ross was very informative on the London sights. And good fun and AJ steered the boat very well. With great twists and turns. We had a great time. Especially when the speed got up. Great experience. Would definitely recommend. 😇😊😊😊😊

I've done a lot of tourist stuff in so many countries and this is a solid 10/10 What a way to see some of the most famous city sights in the world!! Definitely worth the money. Hold on to your hats!!

James was our guide and John was our boat driver. They were both phenomenal! James was very funny and entertaining. They made this experience even better by taking song requests and playing one of our favorite songs! Highly recommend! Probably one of our most favorite experiences in London!

It was an amazing trip. The guide Geoff was great fun as was Bill who drove the boat. My husband and I had lots of laughs and saw some lovely views of London. The high speed boat part was really thrilling. Would definitely go back.

I booked the sunset speed boat experience for my husband’s birthday. It was fantastic. The trip combined slow sections (due to speed limit on the Thames) along famous sites by the river with a thrilling speedy ride after we passed Tower bridge. Great music and free drinks. The best thing was our guide Simon. He could be a comedian! His humour and enthusiasm made sure everyone has a wonderful time!
