Great Ocean Road Reverse: Unforgettable VIP Coastal Escape

Chris our tour guide was fantastic and the great ocean road was spectacular. If you’re in Melbourne I highly recommend this day trip.

Great from start to finish. Excellent pre-trip communication. Easy and punctual pick up. Our guide James made the day filled with fun, local knowledge, secret koala hiding spots and a few surprises along the way. Great balance of time spent in the van, walking and taking photos and „free time“ for meals. Our small group started to feel more familiar as the day went on and we all enjoyed each other’s company thanks to James‘s skilled social engineering. Felt safe and looked after on the road and never got bored during the long day. Very cool idea to do the journey in reverse. Highly recommend!!!

What a great day and amazing experience. In addition to the epic sites visited, our tour guide Chris was awesome! He was friendly and funny and told us many great stories and history of the Great Ocean Road and region. He kept us on time to all the sites so that we could beat the massive crowds, which was great as we had the amazing views mostly to our small group. Chris even took us to additional sites to see wild koalas in trees, wild kangaroos in open fields, and the best ice cream to finish off the day, and he also had a great music playlist during long stretches of driving. Thanks Chris for a memorable and amazing day.

Excellent trip. Guide James was fantastic, full of energy and enthusiasm from pick up to drop off. He made sure we see everything, Kangaroos and Koalas. Highly recommend James as your guide if you can request his bus. Five stars all the way!

The tour was very nice, featuring many beautiful spots and excellent route planning. Our tour guide, Jimmy Chan, was a very good tour guide, with very good driving skills and introducing us to many great photo spots. Each location allowed enough time to take in the views, and we also enjoyed breakfast and lunch at some local restaurants.

Ann spotted the koala (she had a young too) along the road and we stopped for pictures. While parked, there was another koala! We got to see kangaroos too! That was the bonus. Seeing the other landmarks were wonderful too! I highly recommend this tour!

Peter, our tour guide cum driver, was truly amazing! His mandates: avoid huge crowds 😁; locate the best places for observing nature; ensure our safety by teaching us how to respond to snakes if we happened to encounter one and staying off the roads etc.. He made sure the whole journey was filled with joy, laughter and fun! Pete is very knowledgeable, friendly and has so much love for magpies, koalas, kangaroos and nature. You can feel his passion for doing all these. Whenever he gave us 2 options, he was open to providing both options when it was difficult to choose one over another. We were never bored for a moment despite spending around 12 hours together!

Truly amazing experience. Our tour guide Chris gave a great commentary as well as his own stories which was a nice personal touch. Plenty of time for photos and to wander around.

We got to see the 12 Apostles, created by mother nature through the passage of time. The geological formations are truly stunning. The Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the entire areas history and how the current environment came to be.
