Unforgettable Great Ocean Road Eco-Adventure from Melbourne

John was great, absolutely fantastic, however there was a lot to pack in. A return trip via the Ocean Rd would be great.

Jon, our guide, was very knowledgeable and truly passed on his love for the surroundings to all of us. It was a wonderful day exploring this beautiful part of Australia.

From start to finish, this tour with Jess as our guide was fantastic! Go West was very accomodating with change of pick up. This is a very long tour and not recommended for those with vertigo, motion sickness or back pain. That said, despite the 14 hour tour day, the seats were comfortable and stops spaced out with ample time for seeing sights, washroom and food breaks. The views were breathtaking from surf beaches, rugged coastline, forests to serene pastures. We returned having a full bucket of natures beauty! I would highly recommend this GOR tour with Go West!

We had a full bus of about 30 people for a long day of sightseeing along this famous road. Robbo,our driver was entertaining and knowledgeable. He was patient and made all the stops making it a memorable 14 hour day….advertised as 11 hours. No one complained . Took some extra time to see dolphins when someone spotted them. Enjoyed the music he played mocking the dangers people fear about Australia and a funny tune about koalas are not bears.

What a great day we had today everything about the tour was good Bluey the rep was awesome 👌 knew his stuff about the tour and kept us all amused stopped in some great places for photos and we all had a great day many thanks to Go west tours.

Rhys is absolutely wonderful — very kind, funny, and attentive to everyone’s needs. You can tell he really love what he do. He made us feel comfortable and ensured we had the best experience throughout the day. Truly one of the highlights of our trip!

Our guide David N was outstanding. He made sure we saw all the amazing sights and spotted a mob of kangaroos for us. The tour day is long, but well worth it. The walk through the rainforest is otherworldly and the cliffs of the Apostles area are stunning. Bring water and snacks for the bus and money for lunch and dinner on the way. Cafe 153 is a nice place in Apollo Bay.

The Great Ocean Road Tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Australia. If you’re lucky enough to have Naomi as your guide, you’re in for something truly special. She was warm, engaging, and full of fascinating stories about Australia’s history, nature, and geography. Even on the long drive, she kept us completely entertained and made the journey feel short. She went out of her way to help us spot koalas and kangaroos, and her enthusiasm was contagious. I’ve joined quite a few tours over the years, but this one stood out thanks to the breathtaking scenery and, above all, Naomi’s wonderful personality. It was an unforgettable experience that I’d recommend to anyone visiting Australia.

An amazing day. Aleks was an excellent tour guide, and was very knowledgeable and friendly. The day started early but starting the day with muffins and tea looking to out to sea made it worthwhile. Aleks pointed out lots of interesting sights whilst we were being driven around and gets bonus points for spotting the Koalas. We would have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone and when we return to Melbourne we would definitely look at other tours run by Go West Tours.
