Blue & Green Caves, Lopud Šunj: Speedboat Island Escape
No address available
Blue Cave Departures run daily from Dubrovnik Old Town, Cavtat, Mlini, and Srebreno. The tour starts with panoramic views of the Dubrovnik city walls before heading to Koločep Island to visit the Blue Cave, accessible only by swimming. Snorkeling gear is included to explore its turquoise waters, with optional cliff jumping nearby. Next are the Three Green Caves, where two allow easy snorkeling and one is a tunnel that leads through the island. The final stop is Šunj Beach on Lopud, a one-kilometer sandy beach with shallow waters. The speedboat drives to the closest point possible for guest drop-off, then anchors away from shore in line with beach regulations. Guests can enjoy free time, and those ordering a drink at the bar with blue umbrellas receive a complimentary sunbed and umbrella. (From November to April, Šunj beach is closed so our stop will be adjusted to either Lopud village or Koločep village.) The tour ends with return to the departure point.

Good Music. Good vibes. Funny captain. Good drinks. Tip: Please take medicine if you get dizzy easily. Irrelevant: The captain and his friend is pretty good looking.

It was amazing! Frank did a great job showing me the caves and was informative of each stop. I definitely recommend to visit🙌

What a shame that we could not stay longer by both the caves. Towards the end of the trip we spent 2hrs on Lopud beach but aside for one little bar, there was not much to do here. Sadly, the beach was not as clean. Frank, our host was fantastic.

We booked last minute (morning of) and are so glad we did. We went to some amazing caves to swim into and then to Lopud, which was very beautiful, we can see how amazing it would be during the season. Our tour guide Frank was very friendly.

We went to 4 different caves. 2 of them are pretty challenging to get in, obe you can cross - the exit is on the other side of the cliff. But with the great tipps of our skipper „Lio“ I could manage

I started my experience from Cavtat, so the approach to Dubrovnik from the south was exciting. The boat was modern, clean, and well equipped. Fun excursion and surprisingly warm water given it was November 1!! The Blue Cave was exceptionally beautiful and well worth making the trip. The Green Caves were a little sketchy and most people didn’t go into all three. The stop for lunch and lounging on the small island of Lopud was better than expected. We were told that everything might be closed because of it being All Saints’ Day, but fortunately a few bars and restaurants were open. Very peaceful and serene beachfront-waterfront area. Our skipper Leo was very informative and had a great sense of humor. He kept us well supplied with drinks the whole time. All in all, it was a wonderful way to spend half a day and very good value.

This was a highlight of our vacation. A very well-designed experience. We had a good amount of time at each cave and they were amazing. Truly worth jumping in and experiencing it firsthand. The water wasn’t as cold as I expected (but definitely as salty as I expected). The boat crew were professional and the rock music playing in the background made this a one-of-a-kind experience that we will never forget! I would recommend this to everyone visiting the area.
