Ephesus Time Travel: Unforgettable Ancient City Tour from Izmir

From the time that we booked, there was instant communication. Our guide, Alpe was amazing! Our bus driver was wonderful too! Alpe was so knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions in detail. This is by far the best tour we have done. Not only did we get to see everything promised, but it was done in a really professional and courteous manner. We would highly recommend this tour as a must do for your visit to Izmir. Ask for Alpe- he's the best!! Worth every cent.

Our tour was excellent and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. She took the time to make a couple of extra stops that were very nice.

We enjoyed Alpy's informative narrative to go along with the great sites we were seeing. It made the marble structures come alive with how Ephysuans lived their lives.

Our tour guide Ceyla was good and very knowledgeable about the area. She picked us up on time and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. However, we felt that the Ephesus part of the tour was rushed and we spent more time at ceramic and carpet factory. The tour length was supposed to be up to 8-9 hours so we did have time to spend in Ephesus if we needed to. They need to specify that we will be visiting ceramic and carpet factory. That was not mentioned in the itinerary. Although it was very interesting to see, I would have preferred spending more time in Ephesus. The carpet factory process was interesting but many didn’t appreciate the sales pitch at the end and feeling pushed to buy something. I would recommend this tour only if the advertised itinerary was followed.

Alpi is a great guide, he is so nice and passionate about his job that even I got interested in history (and I am not a history person at all :D). I wish all the guides were like him! He is also very nice and attentive to detail, taking care of each tourist and their needs and requests. The tour is amazing, I can highly recommend it to anyone, you definitely won’t regret it!

Our guide Ms. Elcin is so knowledgeable and accommodated to all our needs. Happy to have seen the ancient city of Ephesus on a nice day. Note that admission to House of Virgin Mary is not included though and you’d have to wait in the parking lot for 30 minutes if you choose not to go with the group.

Erman was very patient and very knowledgeable about the history of Ephesus and Izmir. Every part was explained at a good pace and gave the group opportunity to take pictures. Itinerary was explained clearly what we are to expect.

Our tour guide was Rehber and she was excellent!!! Very knowledgeable and shared a wonderful history Rehber had a passion for her work and took time to explain and explore with us We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and everything was well planned and very enjoyable Thank you Farida and nabeel Australia ♥️

Wonderful small group day tour. The pick up in the morning was prompt. Our guide Mehmet was wonderful! Full of passion and knowledge. Mehmet was even able to cater to the one lady that didn't speak any English, giving her information in her native language as well as English for the rest of us. Every step of the tour felt relaxed, we were never rushed. There was always time for an extra photo, a cup of tea or a second look. When we got to the town of Sirince, those people that didn't want to taste wine were offered other activities ( a cafe or shopping) We all had a wonderful time. The provided lunch was quite nice also.
