Ephesus: Transformative Private Ancient City Tour (4-6 Hrs)

We had a great guide who took us through Ephesus and the house of the Virgin Mary. It was very cool seeing these historical sites. The terrace houses were the best part so make sure to add that on. The only thing I didn’t like was that they took us to a leather factory where we had to watch a fashion show and tried to get us to shop which none of our group was interested in. Felt kinda sleazy.

This is a must do tour! We HIGHLY recommend our guide, Cengiz. He was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating to requests, and really went out of his way to make sure our small group had the best experience.

Afterwards, we had a delicious traditional Turkish lunch, full of authentic flavors – a real treat! Every dish was fresh and full of taste, and the setting was charming and welcoming. To top off the day, we visited a local carpet-making cooperative, where we got to see firsthand how these stunning Turkish carpets are made. The artistry and skill involved were truly impressive, and it was fascinating to learn about this ancient tradition. We left with full hearts, enriched minds, and wonderful memories. 10/10 experience! We booked a private tour via Viator for our upcoming Royal Caribbean cruise. From the moment we stepped off the ship, it was white glove service. Our tour guide was waiting for us and escorted us to the Mercedes van. It was spacious, clean and plenty of space for the 4 of us. Our driver navigated the streets expertly and got us as close as possible to every destination. What really made the tour was our guide Ozge. She was personable, witty and had so much interesting information to share. Her ability to navigate the crowds at the ancient city of Ephesus helped us get beautiful photos and keep the tour moving. We highly recommend booking this tour when you visit Kusadasi. We will only do private tours from now on!
