Unforgettable USS Midway: Skip-Line San Diego Carrier Tour

Wear comfortable walking shoes good for climbing stairs. This is an amazing piece of history that needs to be seen.

So many 1st time things to see for a curious mind. Our nation history on a vivid displays. Uss Midway museum is a must to visit for educational or a family weekend trip.

It was a great experience. The ship is so big, gives better understanding to what the crew did & felt. Would recommend seeing this

For someone who loves seeing old planes and an immense aircraft carrier (i.e. my husband), it was incredible! The docents were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Can't say enough good about this place! We went onto every deck and below deck levels that are available to see. Interesting to also see the pilot room, chart house, etc. The flight deck had many planes and helicopters to check out. You don't really realize how large an aircraft carrier is until you see all those vehicles! Lots of displays with things to read if you have the time to do so. One thing I found interesting was the sick bay. There was a room of beds (16, I think), bunk style, and not a single window for fresh air or ventilation. That would have been awful. My husband is 6'2" tall and had to do a lot of ducking to avoid hitting his head. If you want to do the whole ship, be aware that there are many, many stairs and ladders to climb. The hangar deck has a large gift shop, food, more planes, a place to have a souvenir photo taken, and a theater. You can park for six hours on the starboard side of the Midway for $15. Highly recommended!

Had some time to spare, glad we took the tour. It was amazing seeing the living spaces and to.learn about the rich history of the longest severing battle ship.

It is an excellent facility to visit. Many helpful volunteers who are friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to navigate wheelchair friendly. Food and gift shop available.

Absolutely fabulous exhibit. Well maintained. Something for all ages. Live being able to wander round. Top deck with aircraft is amazing. The volunteers are so knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

It was great. The tour signs were very helpful. I would loved to bought a souvenir, but like most gift shops too expensive.

This museum is something you should definitely experience! It's a perfect family activity. The staff is friendly and everything is very well displayed and explained. Perfect learning and photo opportunities ! We loved it.
