Emma did a great job! Even though it was rainy, it was a good time! Would do again and recommend to others.

Visit to Chambord (largest castle but limited furnishings) Chenonceau (was beautifully appointed + family owned business) which included a wine tasting. This is a place to go back for a longer visit. There is a stop in Blois for lunch. Be prepared for a long drive (6 hrs return). Good exposure but cursory visit to each site.

A great day out exploring the two main chateaux in the Loire Valley with a lunch spot in Blois and wine tasting, what's not to like! Both Emma and Goran were professional and informative and did a great job looking after our group. Chenonceau and Chambord are not to be missed, highly recommend!

We enjoyed this excursion which brought us to the Loire Valley. Riti was a pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable tour guide. She made good use of the considerable time spent on the bus to summarize relevant history, point out various castles and landmarks as we drove by, and provide a detailed description of the two castles visited and what we can expect. She was clear and articulate and always pleasant. Chambard Castle was very basic inside but quite impressive from the exterior, as she had described. Castle Chenonceau had much more to see within the castle and was more engaging. The tour was combined with a wine tasting of a white, rose and red wine, which were very nice. They were well presented by an informative guide who shared information about the region and wines. In between visiting the two castles was a stop in the town of Blois, where we had little time for more than lunch. Nonetheless we got a sense of the town and a recommendation for a restaurant was provided, offering a 10% discount to the tour members. The food and service was very good and we were recharged for the second castle and 3 hour drive home. Riti was an excellent host to the end, even offering recommendations of places to grab dinner after we were dropped off at 8 pm. The castle tours are all on your own. There are no headsets or onsite tours, which enables everyone to go where they wish, which is especially needed given the short turnaround. This tour is good to get exposure to the area, history and see some castles. However if you prefer to read the information throughout the castle and wander around at leisure, this tour risks leaving you feeling rushed. It met our needs though we definitely felt like we could have spent more time in Blois and st Chenonceau Castle had time permitted, which simply wasn’t possible for a day trip from Paris. turnaround.

I visited the castles on the Loire River today, and our guide Rata was excellent! She shared fascinating insights about life in the Middle Ages and told some fun stories. We really enjoyed the trip, and the wine tasting was the cherry on top!

Riti was an amazing guide for our trip! Would highly recommend booking her for your future travel trips! She did a great job giving us so many great tidbits of information and even recommending us a restaurant that gave us a 10% discount.

We loved the tour! Not the older ladies that got lost in the parking lot and affected the rest of our day, but everything else and our guide was fantastic! Our hostess and driver get five stars!

My tour was led by Dee who was very kind and had lots of information to share. We were able to get to each destination with ease and she had plenty of recommendations for where to go and eat in Paris. The bus gets pretty chilly so maybe bring an extra jacket just in case.
