The wine tasting and lunch was a great authentic experience. Wish we had a tour guide at Olympia. The guide was very informative as we drove around in the very comfortable van.

This turned out to be one of our favorite days in Greece. Olympia was a substitute port for us because of high winds in another port. We had a wonderful time. Our guide was amazing and kind. Took us to all of the places listed, the ruins, Magna Grecia is incredible, and stopped at an amazing hotel beach resort to end the day. I ate so much but thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. Would do it again tomorrow if I could.

I understood that the tour to the archaeology site did not include a tour. However I was not informed that there would not be any body giving any explanation of what we went to see. We hooked on to a celebrity guided tour , walking near her group so we can understand what we were looking at. She was not happy that we were following her group. The winery we visited was ok, as was the food prepared by the owners mother. We then visited the beach however, we were not told that the chairs and umbrellas had been removed from the beach so we could only look at it from the hotel above the beach. This tour cost over $530.00, which at first seemed ok in value. However, we also had to pay for the admission to the archeological site, 20 euros and 20 euros for the winery. We could have hired a taxi for a lot less money to pick us up at the pier and take us to the Olympic site and the winery. A few of the women from my group were very disappointed for just getting the transportation to the stops and having to pay 40 euros for the extras. This was my first viator tour and had booked it based on my friends recommendations . I would think twice before I book another viator

This was a fabulous private tour. Our guide, Nikos, was extremely friendly and informative. He never made us feel rushed at any of the stops, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable and happy with the tour. The book he gave us to help us identify the ruins in Olympia was helpful, but I have to admit I was a little jealous of the others I saw on guided tours. It was difficult to understand what we were looking at most of the time as the indiviual ruins are not clearly marked. The winery was owned by a small family, curently second generation with the daughter (3rd generation) getting ready to take over. It was an authentic and interesting experience that included a tour of the winemaking area, tasting of 3 wines, and delicious food accompaniments served by the mother, including her own homemade preserves. The beach stop was actually a hotel with a bar overlooking the ocean--a beautiful spot! This tour was one of our favorites of the trip. Thank you, Nikos! Elaina and Ivor from Seattle

Our trip with Theo and his father Andrew was amazing. We had a small group of 4 and they guided us in a new Mercedes passenger van that could have accommodated a much larger group very easily. Andrew was the perfect guide met us at each spot in Olympia and explained where to go and where to meet. The winery stop was the hidden gem of the trip. The family operating couldn't have been more welcoming. The food and wine was excellent. Make sure you go hungry..We travel a lot and cant say enough good things about this tour.

This private tour is amazing! Stathis was great! He took us to a local winery with appetizers, ancient archeological sites and the local beach! This was by far the best excursion we’ve been on!

Our guide, Niki, was fabulous! From being able to speak clear English, providing informative commentary during the trip, making suggestions for getting some local food/dessert, providing a spacious mini bus with AC, and being personal and feeling like she was one of “us”….GREAT EXCURSION & GREAT GUIDE!
