Uco Valley Wine: Elite Altitude Vineyards Immersion

Was just me on this tour. Enjoyed it. Meal was great. Would have been better with others on the tour, but still enjoyed it.

Maria and Patricio were amazing guides! They were so knowledgeable about Mendoza and have a true passion for the uco valley. They made the day exceptional. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone coming to Mendoza!

What a great tour. Patricio and Maria of Wine Explorer (WineX) were very flexible to meet my wishes. I mentioned one bodega that I really wanted to see and can be difficult to arrange and they made it happen. There was a small miscommunication with the pickup time (probably my fault) and when they called to say they arrived and I mentioned I thought it was not supposed to be for another hour and still needed some time, they happily said, no problem and would wait. I said I would rush to grab everything to meet them but they said to take my time (and I believe genuinely meant it). Because of that, they also had to get the time for the bodega tour changed. They were just so accommodating. Both of them are absolutely wonderful and friendly people. It is more like going out to tour with friends than just tour guides. I’ve used Viator all over the world quite extensively and Patricio and Maria are my favorite guides I’ve ever had. I would use them again without hesitation. They speak English (as well as Spanish and Portuguese). If you want to do wine tours around Mendoza, or especially Valle de Uco, you’d be crazy to use anybody else in my opinion. I use the reviews on Viator extensively to make my tour decisions so is the reason I’ve written a long one because I was so impressed with them. I hope it helps someone.

Very good tour of the area and the local wineries with a very good English speaking guide. The route to Uco Valley also passes through beautiful landscapes.

Had a great time! Andres set up us with tours at 3 different vineyards with varying sizes from boutique to industrial and all were wonderful

We did two visits with WineX: full day Uco Valley (SuperUco and Piedra Negra) and a half day Catena Zapata, the Pyramids. Both trips were simply excellent, we loved ! The full day was a miracle as we just found WineX the night before we wanted to go to Uco (another agency had let us down). Andres, the friendly owner, managed to organised us this wonderful Uco tour from the evening to the next morning with an extraordinary driver/guide Jose Luis, who explained us a lot along the drive and was very friendly, we appreciated that a lot! The visits itself were both excellent, in Uco the two bodegas were different with their own style, great storytelling at SuperUco, amazing lunch at Piedra Negra, and well the half day at Catena was just absolutely perfect - also thanks to Mariana the guide from Catena! So: We very much recommend WineX because all tours complied with what we wanted/expected and what we agreed with Andres. That is very important for us as we spent money looking for high quality and we found this here. Andres thanks so much for the wonderful experiences!

Mein Fahrer Pablo war Top! Das Mittagessen war super! Leider war kein Reiseleiter dabei und niemand sprach Portugiesisch, wie es angeboten wurde. Ebenfalls war nur 1 Besuch und nicht wie vereinbart 2 Weingüter dabei! für dieses Angebot war der Preis viel zu hoch, ich würde dieser Ausflug, in der Form wie ich ihn hatte, niemandem Empfehlen, nein, ich würde es allen abraten.

An amazing experience, friendly treatment, we were fulfilled in everything. The assembly of the different cellars was very good. Highly recommended its management all in time and form. Julian's personalized attention excellent!!!!
