Emily was an excellent tour guide! She gave memorable teachings about the locations we visited and even taught us Scottish words. She was very personable and enjoyable!

Our guide Emily made this tour unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and had the perfect mix of history, humor, and storytelling. From exploring Urquhart Castle to cruising on Loch Ness, everything ran smoothly and was perfectly timed. Emily kept everyone comfortable and entertained throughout the day, sharing great insights about the Highlands, Outlander sites, and local legends. The scenery was stunning, but her energy and passion made it truly special. Highly recommend this tour — and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Emily as your guide.

Craig was a great tour guide. Kept us all well informed on our trip with a few jokes to keep us entertained. We would definitely recommend booking with Highland explorer tour. Even better if you get Craig as your tour guide. Thumbs up from us. We've had a great day. 👍

Karen was the best! So friendly and knowledgeable. Best tour ever! I really enjoyed everything on this fantastic day, and we got real nice weather as well.

Absolutely loved this tour! Karen was a fabulous guide and has so much knowledge to offer! You get to see some of the most beautiful spots and get to enjoy the highlands. Highly recommend!

- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
- Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
- Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5.
- In cases of extreme weather, the Loch Ness boat cruise may be cancelled on short notice. If you have purchased ticket for this you will be refunded.
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark.
