Vatican VIP: Skip-the-Line Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Tour
A holiday in Rome without visiting the Vatican is like a day at the beach without swimming in the sea. See the best of the Vatican museums and gain direct entrance with skip-the-line access to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, while our excellent guides entertain you with stories that go with each masterpiece. This budget-friendly tour is the best value for money for travelers that are interested in 1) seeing the museum’s highlights 2) meeting a new friend or two through your group and 3) skipping the lines (trust us, with over 6 million tourist spilling into the museum every year, you'll want it!) Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

Carl was an extraordinary guide! I am a history fiend and have been on many many tours in my life, and Carl is by far the best tour guide ive ever had. He enhanced the experience and honestly wouldn’t have been the same without him.

Our guide Alessia was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories, especially about the Sistine Chapel. The tour was fantastic.

Would most certainly do skip the line again. Your was okay. Guide was less passionate than our last so he seems a little dry and less interesting. The Vatican and Sistine Chapel can’t be fully appreciated in its entirety in a day. Had to be rushed to get through a three hour tour. We didn’t get in Saint Peter’s Basilica because the pope was in session.

I’d definitely recommend them for the tour of the Vatican. Andres and Saverio are amazing. They were friendly and helpful. Saverio is very very informative and knows a lot.

Giada die an excellent job!!! So competent and with a lot of information. But the get-your-guide organization is pretty unprofessional. You are asked to come to an adress in a street with no space for so many visitors. After you have received your sticker, you have to wait in the next street until someone is coming and shouting to get together.

That was the day that King Charles was in town, and we were told that the Sistine chapel portion of our tour would be close to the public. Andy was very informative and knowledgeable, and he was very on top of things when he found out mid dash tour that the Sistine chapel had indeed been open to the public, so we did end up getting to see it! Would highly recommend Andy for any future tours

I’ve never written a tour review before, but after seeing the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica with Carl as our guide, I had to. His knowledge is incredible—more than once, other guides actually stopped to ask him what he was pointing out. But what really makes Carl special is his passion. He’s genuinely excited to share the Vatican’s stories and treasures, and that enthusiasm is contagious. It honestly made the whole experience unforgettable. Hands down, the best tour I’ve ever been on, and I can’t recommend Carl enough!

- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
- Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
- Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
- ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.
