Cappadocia's Exclusive Green Tour: South Valley Wonders

We had an amazing experience on the Green Line tour in Cappadocia! Our guide, Ufuk Çan, was exceptional — very knowledgeable, easy to talk with about general topics, attentive, and always made sure we were safe and comfortable. He answered all our questions with enthusiasm, shared so much interesting information about the region and added a great sense of humour along the way. Really pleasant person. After our tour experience on the Red Line yesterday, we were still hoping that yesterday's guide, Oguz, would continue to lead us for today's Cappadocia Green Line tour. ​Although the weather today wasn't as good as yesterday, we felt right from the start that we were already good friends with our guide. He, once again, organized the most efficient itinerary, taking us sequentially to Goreme Panorama, Ihlara Valley, Selime Monastery, Kaymakli Underground City, and Pigeon Valley. ​This day, just like yesterday's Red Line tour, was a full yet relaxing (not tiring) day trip where we enjoyed professional explanations of the sights and his humorous guidance. It was another packed day of sightseeing. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at a farm we passed and bought a large bag of fresh strawberries; their freshness and sweetness truly amazed us. ​For anyone planning to travel to Cappadocia and looking for a guide, Oguz is a choice that will definitely put you at ease (or: You will definitely be in good hands with Oguz)."

If you’re interested in seeing other areas of Cappadocia outside of Göreme then I recommend this tour. Ali G was a wonderful, knowledgeable and charismatic guide who ensured everything ran smoothly and all our questions were answered. FYI there is a bit of walking / stairs etc. Lunch was at a casual restaurant catering to tourist groups but the food was quite enjoyable nonetheless. If you’re looking for the green tour then this is the one to pick. Thanks Ali and driver!

A wonderful small group trip with a fantastic guide, U fuk. It was a very full day with visits to exceptional sites, decent lunch and rounded off with a beautiful 3.5 km walk through a gorgeous forested river Gorge. Exceptional value for money, highly recommended!!
