Breathtaking Rockies: Lake Louise, Banff & Moraine Lake

We travelled to Canmore/ Banff for the first time and decided on doing this day tour with several stops. It was a great decision to see all these stops guided. We chose a small bus group of only 24 .Our tour operator Mike was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and pleasant as well as humourous in explaining everything all the way and at all points we visited. It was a great day and money well spent making this tour the highlight of our trip. Thanks Mike and Viator.

The best experience ever and Bob was an awesome guide. I went to Banff with friends for the nature getaway and we truly love the place. This tour was worth to book for a day. The only thing we missed was visiting Lake Moraine because it closed early Oct 13. Our trip started Oct 20.

This was the first time my girlfriend and I have been on a guided tour, and Mike was an excellent guide. He was very professional and kept the whole journey very entertaining with the occasional jokes, and helping all of us breaking the ice with each other. You can really tell how much Mike takes pride in being born and raised in Calgary, and wanting to genuinely have fun while sharing the experience and knowledge to others. The price was very fair for what you get to experience in an 8-10 hour tour, as well as being able to learn some of the history in areas you pass through. The whole atmosphere and overall vibes of the tour were positive all the way from beginning to end, and the tour size was reasonable at 23 people all together. If you only have a day to cover a good chunk of Banff and surrounding areas, this tour is a great option. We had people from various countries on our tour. Some who were with friends, some solo travelers, a father and his little girl, and myself and my girlfriend as a couple. All were welcomed with open arms. Overall, great value for what you get to see and experience. Just be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, and have proper footwear for the approximately 20 minute walk to Marble Canyon, and the trip back to the bus. The path can be slippery at times with rain and snowfall. Thank you again to Mike for providing us such an incredible experience that we'll remember for a lifetime.

This tour was a great start to our short Banff vacation. It was our first time and our tour guide, Mike, really showed us the best spots — Lake Louise, Marble Canyon, Bow Falls, and Surprise Corner. He shared history, trivia bits, and jokes during the ride which were also a plus! He was a great resource and photographer, super friendly, accommodating, and approachable. 10/10, highly recommend this. Would do the tour again :) Thank you Mike for the awesome experience!

My Calgary hotel concierge booked this tour for me and I could not be more delighted with the experience. A small bus, making the experience more intimate and special. Our driver and guide was simply FANTASTIC. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and wonderful. He knows the routes, and was able to detour us so that we did not need to wait for the freight train to pass leaving us to sit in traffic. Along the way to the mountains, he shared his personal insights about how much Calgary has grown in his lifetime and historical lessons about our first nations peoples. He kept friendly dialogues between us at all the stops. He was on hand to take pictures for us. He understands the assignment that this is a magical time for his guests. And finally on the way back, he allowed us to decompress by playing country music, that allowed most of us to take a short snooze.

Had so much fun! We covered a lot of ground and saw far more in one day than I would have done alone. Our guide Mike was fantastic! He was full of information and humour - next time I come to Calgary I'm going to see if I can get on a group with him again!
