Cyprus Troodos: Paphos' Authentic Mountain Village Escape

I went on this trip today as a solo guest. It was my first time in Cyprus, so I was somewhat nervous, but it was completely unnecessary. Garlina, our guide, was funny and charming, and put everyone at ease. The tour went well, and she was full of interesting facts along the route. We took the lunch recommendation, where the food was delicious (portions too big!), and enjoyed everything the intensely had to offer. The coach wasn’t pristine, but the air conditioning worked perfectly, and felt safe. The waterfall was a highlight, though I’d caution travellers with reduced mobility, as it’s quite a flight of steps to get down to it. 100% would recommend to see the basic sights.

Incredible experience, lovely coach with a small group, perhaps 20 of us. Some lovely stops and great tour information from the guide. The whole 8ish hours was enjoyable. A very enjoyable day suitable for solo, couples and groups.

Terrific day exploring several sights around Cyprus. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we learned many things about the island. Each stop was excellent. Beautiful scenery, delicious food, and good wine. Long day but well worth it to get a taste of this beautiful island! Highly recommend.

Bus was small and not particularly comfortable. Guide was good but she overdid the amount of information as we went along.

I felt I was part of a 'Viator Family'. Solo is no problem, in my opinion and this was my first experience with Viator. Angela, our Guide and Andraos, our driver, were so kind, easy to chat too. Full of experience. They are passionate about their Cyprus. Pick-up from Hotel was fantastic and in a great vehicle. Thank you.

Great driver and guide however too long in both villages, not enough to fill the allocated time, slightly dissappointing.

All good. Visited aphrodite rock, coffee & snack in mountain village, waterfall, wine tasting at winery and stopped for lunch and shopping in another village.

Very well organised right from initial pick up and throughout the whole day. Our guide Viola was great fun and very informative. So many activities all crammed into one day.

Excelent tour from start to finish, Sophie was exceptional together with the driver who was faultless.

We would thoroughly recommend this day trip. Anna was extremely well informed , interesting and friendly. We got to experience some of the ‘real Cyprus’ which will be a lasting memory for us.
