Copenhagen's Grand Day: Royal Castles & Coastal Gems

Our guide, Thomas, was excellent, knowledgeable, very friendly and accommodating. Hamlet Tours has really put together a great one day experience outside of the city meant for those of us who are only in country for a few days. We highly recommend this tour!

The tour was informative and Sillas was the best! He has a great sense of humor. Learned many Danish history facts. I would highly recommend choosing the tour and specifically ask for him as your guide.

The Grand Day Trip is a superb way to experience the history of Denmark through the eyes of Hamlet Tours and their excellent guide. Thomas our tour guide and self-described “Dane for the day” made visiting the castles and museums both entertaining and informative. He is an excellent storyteller and highlighted so many wonderful details of the architecture we saw, little things with great stories behind them that would be easy to miss. Definitely didn’t think we’d learn the importance of special red paint or that we’d see the tiniest paw print immortilized in 900 year old brick! His history tales gave us valuable context for the times and places of all the stops and helped us appreciate each one even more. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were the last to get dropped off at the end of the day and scored some great recommendations close to our hotel and had great conversation. Absolute highlight of our trip and strongly recommend for anyone looking to make the most of their time in Denmark. 10/10 mini bus playlist as well!

Were to begin... this tour was exceptional and our guide, Thomas, was perfect! His knowledge of the history of Copenhagen was incredible and his humour just added to the fascinating stories! The tour was small and very personable. I loved every site and Thomas had very interesting stories to go along with each site that made the tour so fascinating.
