Prague Foodie Delights: 4-Hour Authentic Culinary Quest
Ever since we started the first food tours in Prague back in 2011, the idea has been simple. We take you to places you would not have found by yourself. We carefully choose delicious, authentic dishes and drinks you should not miss. And in the meantime we tell you things you could not google. We could go on through all the clichés, the vistas, the traditions and hidden corners. But the fact is that we run this on empathy. We know how precious your vacation time is, so we will not waste it on second-rate food or experience. We will treat your vacation and trip to Prague as if it were our own. So if you want to spend a few hours in the company of well-traveled locals who will serve you must-try foods and drinks and will not resort to tourist clichés because simply our conscience would not let us (and our Czech friends would eat us alive for it), we'll be happy to have you. A totally typical Minnesota resteraunt who is trying to be fancy and pretentious with overpriced food. The salad I had was good, but nowhere near the price they charged and the seating was atrocious. We always wanted to try it, but were very disappointed. Service was the only good thing there, seating was lousy (the chairs are very hard) and the lights were glaring. Be sure to read the menu before you go so there is no sticker shock and keep your expectations low. They are offering an upcoming all you can eat steak/lobster night for $72 per person...but not 100% sure what kind of steak. Reservations required.

Local expert foodie provided the best way to roam the city like a local visiting fantastic Czech food and drinks. We stopped at the pub where the food was only surpassed by the Pilsner, made several other food stops before heading to a swanky bar where a speciality drink was served. Our guide Karla lives her city and entertaining. It was a night to remember.

Definitely a cut above the rest. This is a high end food tour. You go to great places and eat everything from traditional to high end food and drink. Our guide was super knowledgeable she kept us on time and inline. I really liked the way she portioned all the food up so everyone got a even share and no double dipping which is hygienically awesome, This was definitely one of the best walking food tours I’ve done and I’ve done a lot over the past 20 years.

Excellent tour! Each destination was better than the last and Jan took great care to tell the history of his beloved culture along the way. He couldn't have been more welcoming, knowledgeable and authentic. Highly recommend - make it a priority at the start of your stay in Prague.

The tour took us to 4 eateries - 1 that focused on Czech food (Lokal), the second was place where we had a delicious meat sandwich (definitely would not have found this one on my own), the third was an open kitchen, not traditional cuisine but local with a modern take (the taste of both the dishes was great and the wine was great as well), the last one on the list was a pastry shop with three classic Czech desserts (all great if you are trying them for the first time) and we ended at a Bar with a classic cocktail. The tour gave us the opportunity to explore the local cuisine as well as a taste of what modern Czech cooks are doing & the suggestion list shared at the end was quite helpful. Our guide Klara was great, she just didn’t take us on a tour but also made us aware of the local cultural customs related to food & dining. Don’t go expecting ghoulash or dumplings the experience in this tour leaving you missing neither.

Amazing experience! Well worth the splurge. Our guide, Jan, gave us personal insight into Czech food and drink, life in Prague, and his experiences growing up during Communism. All of the food and drink was delicious and plentiful. Their delightful guidebook also helps you identify other places to check out while you're in Prague. Totally recommend! You will not be disappointed.

Karolina was a captivating storyteller who made Prague come to life for us. We enjoyed the diverse food, people, and background we explored and really felt a greater appreciation for the place thanks to her personal and historical explanations. She made everyone in the group feel welcome and took extra care to remember our names and stories. This tour was our favorite part of our entire international adventure!

One of the best food tours we've had so far. Our host (tour guide) Tereza was a delightful person, very knowledgeable of the Czech cuisine history and evolution. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it!! We reserved this tour for our last day in Prague, and it was the perfect ending to our vacation. Yes, we absolutely recommend this tour.
