This was a fascinating tour, brilliantly done. The history and the storytelling were great and the bunker extraordinary. We learned so much. Would highly recommend. Thanks!

Our tour guide was Karel. He is very informative and engaging. Our family enjoyed the tour. The timing is spot on, the bunker site is interesting and worth visiting.

This was one of those experiences we were glad we did. An amazing tour lead by a very knowledgeable and amicable guide (I'm terribly sorry for not remembering his name), the bunker was really cool and the spots "above ground" chosen to contextualise the history were perfect. Would recommend it!

L was a great tour guide. Knew a lot about Czech history. Was easy to talk to and answered all our questions. Great tour and highly recommended.

There are some interesting facts on this tour, but generally not delivered in an engaging manner. The tour was far too long. We were told 2.5 hours which seemed long. We started at 11.30am and were not back in Wenceslas Square until nearly 3pm. The guide showed no sign of stopping so we just turned the other way to the group and went for a late lunch. In the nuclear bunker itself there were exhibits which could have been interesting, but instead we had to listen to a diatribe about how terrible it had been under communism. I am sure it was dreadful, but this got in the way of a sensible and informative visit. After a while we lost the will to live. We had an 11 year old with us and he was very good, but completely disengaged. We had hoped to give him some useful education instead he will never study that part of history again.

I joined this tour earlier today with my sister and it was one of the best things we've done since arriving in Prague. The bunker was fascinating and a little eerie in the best possible way, we even got the chance to handle some of the weapons and tools from that era, which was a nice extra touch. The history of the shelter and the communist period in Czechoslovakia was really interesting to hear and it was all thanks to Maki, who shared so many details and made the whole experience so engaging that everyone in the group was completely captivated, I loved the energy and we couldn't have asked for a better guide! Overall both me and my sister absolutely loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone looking for something unique, it's an experience you definitely won't find every day

Fantastic tour focusing on the recent history of Prague and its turmoil post WW2. Walking around Prague looking at various historical places in relation to the political uprising and the Velvet Revolution. A trip on the tram was an unexpected bonus, an experience indeed!! The nuclear bunker was so interesting and our excellent tour guide Karel was so so good - made the tour!! Would definitely recommend.

This a must for the experience and history of communism during the Czechoslovakia era. Lada was our tour guide and he was exceptional. His experience of living through communism and growing up during communist rule really brought to life that it really didn’t happen that long ago. He was full of facts and life experience. You’ll be lucky to have Lada as your tour guide as his passion and knowledge is incredible.

What an awesome walk through recent history with reality checks at every turn! Our fearless leader/tour guide Lada was awesome!! He not only made this tour very informative and interesting but also very authentic and real. This is a must do for everyone visiting this very special city that’s bursting with history both recent and medieval. I only hope you’re blessed enough to get Lada as your tour guide! He was a 10-star leader! Thank you Lada from the bottom of our hearts!

Interesting insight into life in communist Czechoslovakia related with passion by a guide who lived it. A chance to see a few key places in the city where historic protests were held, then tram ride to bunker itself. Walking, steep steps and time in small underground spaces. Was a good introduction to this recent history for our 12 year olds - perhaps too grim for younger children.
