I totally enjoyed myself seeing and feeding the monkeys was great and the boat ride was excellent will totally do it again. expectations was exceeded!

Daniel, our tour guide was warm, interesting and very knowledgeable. The van driver was awesome, got us there and back in no time, and our boat captain was unreal at finding wildlife and navigating the boat. We saw toucans, 3 types of monkeys, tiny bats, birds of prey & iguanas! Bring cash for the awesome fruit market that you get to visit at the end of the tour (and 25 cents for the bathrooms).

We loved, loved, loved this trip. We saw all three varieties of monkeys, plus bats, iguanas, snail kites, and -- my personal favorite -- toucans. Our guide, Daniel, was very funny and insightful. We did one early morning tour (7am) and one mid-morning (11am). Early morning was the winner -- more animals out and about, more activity from the monkeys, and less rain. The toucans are also more visible in the mornings. Definitely don't forget bug spray and sunscreen. You probably will get wet at some point, but you won't get cold. Not recommended for people who get loud or agitated when animals get close; if you scream while a monkey is in the boat, they'll all leave, and everyone in the boat will hate you. I suggested that people who scream should be tossed into the water, but apparently this is a bad idea because there are crocodiles. I think that makes it an even better idea, but that's just me. A telephoto lens is great for birds and faraway animals, but we got great photos even with our phones, especially when the monkeys came close. Can't say enough good things -- this was a fantastic tour!

Such a rich experience. Prompt pick up time from the hotel. Jeny was an incredible host and guide. We got to see all 3 monkeys and they were very patient to allow everyone to get to view as close as possible. 10/10 recommend!! Bonus was the stop at the local farmer’s market. I had a great time :)

We had a great time. This excursion was fun and very informative. You never get off the boat and you dont get wet. The monkeys did come right to the boat so you can get pics and videos. I believe our guide name was Daniel and he did an excellent job. Highly recommend

Daniel and Brian picked us up promptly and got us to the boat very quick. On the way there Daniel went over the rules and told us all about the monkeys we would see. He is a great story teller. Once we got to the boat our monkey whisperer Juliette was awesome. It started to rain on the way to the first monkeys. Juliette was very persistent with the second set on monkeys we came to see. She called them for almost 10 min she didn’t give up until they finally started to come down. The boat driver navigated to lake expertly and got us there and back safe and sound. Overall awesome trip and can’t recommend enough when coming to Panama.

The best experience! I seen different monkeys, baby alligators, birds, and lizards. I would go again it was very soothing for the soul.

Wonderful wildlife tour on Gatun Lake. Daniel was an amazing guide! We were able to see Several types of monkeys, iguana, bats, sloth, etc. I highly recommend it!

Our family of six really enjoyed this tour! Although the monkeys were a bit shy and hiding at first, we were lucky enough to feed one — which ended up being the highlight of the trip. We didn’t spot any sloths this time, but that’s okay because interacting with the monkeys made up for it completely. The tour guides and boat captain were a pleasure to be around — knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. We also saw iguanas and learned a lot about the local wildlife throughout the journey. Our driver arrived right on time for pickup and dropped us safely back at our Airbnb afterward, which made the experience even smoother. Overall, it was a wonderful and educational outing that the whole family enjoyed. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Panama!
