Nice temple and historic site. The tour guide Lily was friendly and shared a number of interesting tidbits about Greek history and mythology.

The tour is a short but a wonderful one. Our guide Iliana and driver Andi were amazing! They arrived the diagnosed spot on time. It’s a semi-private tour with a small group. I’ve always wanted to see the temple of Poseidon at cape Sounion since I was a teenager. So, it was a special moment for me visiting the site. Iliana kept us busy during the ride with Greek mythology stories and Greek history. Even though it was overcast and could not see the actual sunset, the experience felt wonderful. Cloudy or not, I highly recommended it.

The pickup was smooth, with Katerina meeting us at a meeting point just a few minutes walk from our hotel. The stop-off at Lake Vouliagmeni was a welcome break, and we had plenty of time to look around the Temple of Poseidon. We were very lucky on the day as the weather was beautiful, so the light was wonderful for pictures at sunset. Towards the end of the trip the road is a bit twisty, so my daughter felt travel sick, the stop off to view the temple from a distance was very welcome. Katerina was very nice and informative, and gave the trip a fun, relaxed feel.

Katrina was our tour guide for this and she was lovely - friendly, knowledgeable and gave a good commentary during the journey to Sounion, including the brief stop-off at the thermal lake and the Temple of Poseidon viewing point. Entry to the temple itself is an additional €20 per person but worth it for close up views of the temple as well as an incredible sunset. Friday night Athens traffic meant it was a longer journey back to the hotel but overall I would highly recommend this trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon Sunset Tour. Our guide, Teddy (Theo), was an unforgettable highlight. He was engaging, warm, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. His knowledge of Greek history, mythology, and the landmarks along the coastal drive was impressive, and he explained everything in a way that made the experience come alive. The tour itself was breathtaking — the views, the timing of the sunset, and the beauty of the Temple were truly something special. It ended up being one of the brightest and most memorable parts of my entire trip to Greece. The atmosphere was peaceful, the scenery was stunning, and Teddy made the whole experience feel effortless and elevated. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Teddy as the guide. His professionalism and personality made the day exceptional. I’m so grateful we booked this — it’s an experience I’ll remember for a long time.
