Authentic Thai Market Magic: Train Track & Floating Tour

Great day, massively helped by meeting new people in our tour group from USA, Portugal and UK. A drive to the train start point, a look at some salt fields and 30 minute train ride that passed directly through a local market. You have to experience it to believe it, just how close it passes by stalls and people. The floating market experince is great. Bring sunscreen. There is some road travel between each of these stops. Dropped back to a shopping mall. Loved the whole day.

The experience was smooth, the floating Market was nice, Tim, the wonderful guide, gave us tips about prices and how to stay safe, took us to the train market at the perfect time and also asked if we wanted to be dropped off at the MBK mall. He was one of the best guides I ever had! Thank you Tim!!!!

Railway markets was nuts😜 never seen anything like it. You must witness it. The floating markets was also worth doing. The heavens opened half way round and we got soaked through to knickers. It was welcomed in 35 degrees heat. Highly recommend. Patty the guide was excellent. She even showed us which train to get on and which station to get off after the trip. Nice touch Patty 🥰

This was such a unique experience! Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and helpful. It suddenly started raining as soon as we were supposed to get on the river boats, but our guide was quickly able to pivot plans without us losing time on the boat ride. Recommend!

There was some disorganization in terms of pickup. Idk if it’s because there were people on the tour from different countries but no one was very friendly save for one man from the UK. The tour guides English was hard to understand at times, although his knowledge seemed very sound. Didn’t realize how long transportation to and from the markets would take. Felt like there was too little time to explore both markets. Kinda felt rushed. I would’ve liked more time at the markets. Maybe that’s why it says half day, although it practically took the whole day. Also wasn’t dropped off at my hotel so had to find a ride back which was inconvenient. The markets however are beautiful and worth seeing.

Well organised and on time experience which allowed me to explore the Thai culture, in particular outside city skirts.

Mr. Aekaphol is really nice. Really recom he knows everything and he is really patient because we brought our 2 yo son.

It was difficult to find Patty. A information that it was inside the center and an Office nearby Starbucks would help. The trip was good but a little oversold. It should have been buy tourist souvenirs on a floating market and a railwaymarket, and not telling it was a local market Selling their fruits and things. It was all Chinese cheap products Selling to the highest prise they could get. But it was possible to find a few interresting things, but again, Patty was a fantastic guide. Thank you
