Authentic Thai Market Magic: Train Track & Floating Tour

We had an excellent time today. Our tour guide was helpful and took good care of us. Our driver was courteous and safe. Very interesting experience. Highly recommend.

This was well worth booking. Our guide was Nice and she was absolutely amazing! She gave us a brief history of the locations and the places we saw on the drive, was the best photographer and made sure to guide us on prices, bargaining, foods to try and where to stand for the train. I would recommend this excursion to anyone as just going to these locations can be difficult to navigate for foreigners. If you can try to ask for Nice as your guide. She won’t steer you wrong and was simply the nicest person so her name was so fitting! ☺️

Great way to spend a morning combining 2 markets in one! Was an early start and everything went smoothly with the pickup. Only downside is the journey out of Bangkok to the markets is quite long and uncomfortable in the minibus. At the railway market especially be prepared for strong smells…

Very touristy, both places are. I don’t know if it’s worth that long drive, but the train market is something. I would have enjoyed more if there is easier public transport options, taking time to look around more in the train market. The floating market was also overtaken by tourists, and I think motor boats and vendors hook the boats into their boats to sell their stuff should be banned. The highlight of the boat ride was when we took turn from the main area toward corner, it was calmer and quieter to enjoy the ride and scenery. It will be more enjoyable if there were more local products or food type of things than all souvenirs. I should go another time during weekends when more locals visit.

Excellent experience. Well planned and organized. Both guide and driver were very kind. Timing was perfect. Pick up and end of visit was well planned.

Pooh was our tour leader, she was great :-) The half day is plenty of time to experience the train market and floating market (be aware getting on the train there is a big step up)

The stops were great and we enjoyed both main events the train ride was also great and seeing the sea fields interesting. Am the tour guide tried very hard to tell us what was going on it Ian afraid his English was difficult to apprehend and subsequently we didn’t really understand what was about to happen until it did!!
