Excellent walking tour. Very experienced guide. We missed out on one of the venues because of practice but the tour was still good.

Easy ticket pick up with Viator reservation and purchase. Was cheaper than the walk up price. Tour is the same and supplied by Opera House staff no matter how you purchase. The tour is very worthwhile!

Expect it to be busy, especially if there's a cruise ship in the harbour. But the tours are so well organised that this didn't detract from the whole experience.

We found the tour very interesting and it gave a great insight into the history and present days at the Opera House. Our tour guide, Amanda, was brilliant and spoke passionately with a lot of information

Brilliant experience, very informative and succinct. Our tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable. Just one note, the Viator email confirmation wasn’t the actual ticket, ticket had to be obtained in booking office in Opera House.

Well organized walking tour with headphones. Guide was wonderful and interactive. Very informative, must be able to climb stairs as there are a few flights as you walk through the center.

Fascinating behind the scenes look at the Opera House. The guide was extremely personable and had a wonderful knowledge of the history of the Opera House. We were fortunate enough to see the Sydney Symphony Orchestra practicing, but seeing a rehearsal is not always guaranteed. Note- over 200 steps to be negotiated. We are so glad we did this. It’s such an amazing and important building.

Amanda was an excellent enthusiastic guide, full of useful information. She made both the symphony hall and show Sutherland opera venue come to life.

To check-in for the tour, please arrive to the Welcome Centre on the Lower-Concourse of the Sydney Opera House precinct for the 1-hour Guided Tour and exchange this voucher for your tour ticket. It is recommended to arrive approximately 10 min prior to your scheduled departure time. Please note, the tour can contain approximately 300 stairs and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Please ensure you have selected the correct language option for the tour you want to experience. If you can not understand the language of the tour, you may be refused entry to that tour time. You can contact the Sydney Opera House reservations team to discuss further. If you are undertaking the Tour & Dine experience, you will receive a printed ticket on check-in at the Welcome Centre which can be redeemed for your main meal and drink at one of the harbour facing restaurants.
