Panama Canal & City: Breathtaking Engineering & Culture Tour

Very informative. Made sure we made it in time to see the last ship of the morning go through the first lock

We reserved a private tour at 8am the morning we arrived in port. We were set up with Luis as our guide, first he called me and had such a positive and friendly attitude. As soon as we hopped in his van we could tell we were going to have a great day with Luis, and we DID!! I cannot express how much fun we had with Luis, he seemed to know everyone in, he took us into areas we would never planned to see, took us into churches and back rooms of churches that were truely beyond expectations. An unexpected Balboa at the end of our day was just icing on the cake. If you’re lucky enough to have Luis as your guide you won’t be disappointed but you’ll know you had a welcoming experience and a friend. I won’t spoil Luis other extra gift, but when he shares it with you, you’ll know how much he cares to ensure you had a great time😎😎

Everything was very good. Our tour guide, Richard, was incredibly nice and friendly, always eager to answer our questions. He was also very dedicated during our stops around the Panama Canal and the Casco Viejo, making it a truly enjoyable experience. I really loved it honestly!

This excursion was filled with history, adventure, & fun. Richard Lloyd & his assistant were very professional & picked up me & my friends on time at the resort. Richard’s knowledge on the history of Panama were unmatched! Our first stop was the Panama Canal. This entire experience was extremely informative & amazing! We were so intrigued to be on site & see how the operation process . Richard gave everyone an opportunity to ask questions about anything, & the Canal’s functions while at the same time sharing facts about its operations etc. Next was the city tour. It was such a great experience! Learning about the variation of hats & the history behind its existence were intriguing. The visit to the Chocolate Factory was definitely fun! Walking through the Old & New Panama was a wonderful & unforgettable experience. Lastly, everyone was given an opportunity to take photos at various key locations that would mark the end of this awesome tour! This excursion was nothing short of amazing! We all had a wonderful time!

Learning about the Panamanian culture is something that one must do on their trip! I felt like I had a wholesome experience on this tour! Richard was very friendly, very knowledgeable and a great photographer! We did so much - from the Canal, purchasing souvenirs, the Cathedrals (the best part in my opinion), taking photos at the Panama sign, walking through the Old City & chocolate tasting! Thank you so much Richard for such an insightful experience!
