Big Bus Paris Hop-on Hop-off and River Cruise

The idea of this sounded great but the reality was we would have been quicker walking on occasions! Paris is so congested with traffic that we sat, not moving sometimes for 15 minutes. Also be aware that the service doesn't start until 9.45 and stops running at 5.30pm. You DO get to see "the main attractions" but it can take an awfully long time getting to them. The boat trip was great. We were on the first trip of the day and the commentary was very good. If I came again I wouldn't bother with the big bus but would definitely go on the boat trip.

Was traveling with my mum, who is slightly less mobile these days. It's a really easy way to see a lot of the city, hop on and off, or stay on for a bit longer to rest. The audio tour is a bit overly touristy, but I suppose that's to be expected. We took the additional boat trip, which was the best bit of the day, and definitely worth it.

The river cruise was pretty worthless. You download the app for little blurbs on each location. That’s fine, but the guide very rarely (maybe three times) called attention to the buildings. We’d be floating past some big old building that was clearly important but we didn’t know what it was. Because of this, we couldn’t use the audio to hear information about the different sites. Extremely disappointing, as our boat tour on the Thames in London two days before was absolutely stellar. Terrible waste of money. The bus was fine. Not much guidance from the drivers on which stops were which. We didn’t utilize the service nearly as much as we could have.

Goes to essential places. Cruise is really nice as it is a full circuit. Wish the bus had a larger route or options like in London.

Amazing pity we were not able to do this on the first day. Well worth it. Sein cruise was part of ticket personally found it to be a bit disappointing after seeing everything on the HOHO. I would rather suggest an evening river cruise that incl dinner etc

The issue here was the buses started late, finished early, and I stood around watching the competitor have many more buses running more frequently, so I’m not sure this one is good value.

This was pretty much your basic hop-on-hop-off tour. Nothing out of the ordinary - not exceptional, but not bad either. It’s a good way to see the highlights of the city and then go back to visit some of them in depth if you want. Audio was available in multiple languages.

So much to see and not enough time, do the shop on hop off. It’s the best thing ever. I have done these buses all over the world and it’s amazing.
