Epic Cape Town Adventure: Table Mtn, Penguins & Cape Point

The tour was well organized and we got to see all the key highlights of Cape Town in a day. There was enough time at each location to appreciate each site. Lina was a lovely tour guide. Very friendly, made sure to learn all our names and was very good at providing some insights about the locations we drove past or visited. She was always happy to assist with taking photos. Leon was a great driver. He was friendly and we shared a few laughs too! I recommend this tour to anyone who is short on time when visiting Cape Town

What really made it for us was the guide: Nomasakhane. She was welcoming, informative and had a great sense of humor. Our driver Penny was also great, very attentive. Logistical communication and arrangements were great for us: routes, stops, time given at each stop. One thing I’d change would be to cancel the St. James- Muizenberg stop and re-distribute that time along the way…the lunch stop especially to get a sense of Simon’s town.

I had an amazing time with Beyond Africa, and I really want to highlight how great Gordon was as our tour guide. From the start, he explained the plan clearly, showed us the route, and made sure we always knew what was coming next. He cared a lot about everyone’s safety and checked on us throughout the day. We visited great spots, ate at nice places, and even picked up some good souvenirs along the way. Gordon stayed professional, friendly, and kept the whole tour running smoothly. He stuck to the schedule so well that we actually made it back a little early, without ever feeling rushed. This was a wonderful shared tour experience, and Gordon truly made it special. He definitely deserves five stars. I highly recommend Beyond Africa and would happily tour with them again.

Nathan was a fantastic guide - polite, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable. The tour was relaxed yet brilliantly organised to make the most of the day. Pickup from the hotel was punctual, and we travelled in a comfortable new Mercedes minibus with a small group. Even the process of picking up other guests around town was fascinating - getting a glimpse of different neighbourhoods including old inner-city Cape Town. Throughout the day, Nathan pointed out various animals, key buildings, and interesting landmarks, bringing the area to life with his commentary. The itinerary covered all the highlights: the penguins, the dramatic scenery at Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, beautiful beaches, and we even spotted ostriches along the way. The pacing was spot-on - never rushed but covering an impressive amount in a single day. Honestly, you'd find it very difficult to do this route yourself, especially in a day. The tour felt safe, professional, and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. If you're visiting Cape Town, this is an absolute must-do.

According to the reservation details, the pick-up information should be provided 1 to 2 days before the scheduled day. Unfortunately, I received it after 8 PM following my email request, even though the tour was supposed to start at 7 AM.

It was a pleasant experience, the tour guide Loma and the driver tahreeq made the tour extra special. They had us giggling and laughing while impacting on us the knowledge of cape Town.

Terrific guide Clement. Had an answer to every question and kept us entertained. Some if our group had difficulties with their park entry and cable car tickets. You need to be clear about this in the booking process as foreign visitors like us did not have full mobile phone services.

Can’t complain about a tour that ventures to a great collection of must-sees…all within one day. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the small group setting while getting a ton of insight on our destinations and history of South Africa from our awesome guide, Talent. Well organized and planned…would have been nice to have a bit more time at Cape Point but no real complaints. I’m exhausted, but memories to last a lifetime!

Talent was an excellent guide, accomodative and helpful. They kept time and managed it well through the day.
